走進 KABOOM,彷彿離開了尖沙咀的喧囂。20 樓的高度,讓維港的夜色盡收眼底,木質裝潢和竹子天花透出一絲溫暖的異國情調。那晚我點了「Grilled Gai Yang Chicken」,雞肉醃得入味,外皮烤得焦香,內裡卻保持嫩滑,搭配泰式醬汁和羅蒂餅,簡單卻有層次。另一道「Tom Yum Coconut Scallop Carpaccio」也很驚喜,帶子的鮮甜被椰香和冬陰功的微辣襯托得更突出,吃起來清爽又有餘韻。飲品選了「If Not Now, When?」,班蘭的清香混著酒味,喝下去像是夏天的微風。服務員態度溫和,會細心解說菜單,雖然上菜稍慢,但坐在露台上望著海景,也就不那麼在意時間了。KABOOM 的價格不算低,但那份靜謐的氛圍和用心的小細節,讓人覺得這一餐還是值得的。
