想像總是美好。因有coupon的緣故,便試試到這家久仰大名的餐廳high tea。
惠顧前曾致電餐廳可否訂座,接線的回覆說沒有訂座服務。今天我們約3時半到達餐廳,侍應領我們坐一張方桌,我留意到椅子十分殘舊且有污跡,而當時有一張卡位空座,便問問可否坐卡位。此時,另一名看來較資深的侍應立即不甚禮貌的說那張枱已有人訂了! 我心想:不是說不能訂座嗎?這豈不是自打嘴巴? 但我無意引起紛爭,所以沒有反駁她,只是第一印象非常不好,真想不到來這種一線餐廳會得到三流服務:(
食品方面,tea set可說全無驚喜,以普普通通的玻璃兜盛載,沒有三層架鳥籠甚麼的擺設,令我忽然掛念起金鐘Lumi的美美手袋造型食物架。Presentation這麽平庸,完全失卻吃high tea的格調。
鹹點雖有龍蝦尾,但伴菜的芒果很酸,其他食材不見得名貴亦不覺美味。甜點亦然,平凡得很,甚至檸檬茶亦茶味欠奉
吃過這餐,幻想破滅,再次證明想像總是美好,現實卻總是殘酷。

我鍾意嚟呢度,因為唔會去茶記堂食,又想食到茶記食物,例如粉麵、三文治、凍檸茶。服務唔好expect too much,唔好當一流*,事實亦唔係。心態當高級茶記就OK,呢度地點方便、價錢唔貴、多選擇。
