1) bread basket
-free
-2 types of bread, 1 with nuts and 1 was plain white bread
-soft, passed

2) soup/ salad
i) corn soup X 2
-quite dark yellow color, also quite creamy texture, with corns and other vegetable dices
-ok, but not outstanding

ii) papaya salad
-included western salad vegetable, some shredded orange peel, papaya dices
-dressing was very sour (but still acceptable), like using the white vinegar

iii) mango prawn salad
-included western salad vegetable, medium sized prawn (shell removed for the body), mango dices
-dressing was also sour but not as much as above, thought it's balsamic vinegar
-the sweetness of mango + the sour dressing made it a very good appetizer
-friends liked this than the papaya salad

3) main
i) us kurobuta pork chop w/cucumber salad and noodles
-the texture "black" pork chop is rich, neither rough nor chewy, but juicy
- the noodles went with the dish was also good because of the slightly peanut taste dressing
- good

ii) seared lamb loin in red curry sauce
- lamb loin in 2 stripes, normal portion, tender
- the red curry sauce wasn't spicy but made the dish more tasty
- went with small potato slices, green peas

iii) mixed mushroom risotto in black truffle sauce
- rice was slightly "al dente", good
- but not that rich mushroom aroma/ taste as i expected
- ok

iv) pan seared fish + potato + cherry tomato salad + mustard dressing
- waitress claimed the fish's "青衣"
- very slightly over cooked
- brought not much surprise in taste, just normal qly
- but chef is very thoughtful to remove the skin of the cherry tomato

4) dessert
- additional ordered 2 desserts, both required long preparation time (abt 15-20 mins)

i) warm chocolate ganache
- it's a short round tart
- very chocolate and smooth
- went with fresh fruit in dices
- just good sweetness
- good

ii) pumpkin tart with banana gelato
- the pastry of the tart was very rich in wheat
- pumpkin mesh filled was very soft, not too sweet
- banana gelato tasted quited homemade but not rich in banana actually (compared to the banana gelato in xtx)
- but good combination of warm (pumpkin tart) + cold (ice cream)
- good

- naturally compared this with bonhexx (just 1 floor above), but they individually had different strengths

- here definitely offered wider lunch set choices and aiming for a bright and garden like lunch because they used full glazed window to let sunshine/ natural light come through (assuming the weather must be fine)

- while bonhexx emphasized on service (waiter/ waitress wore more smiles and friendly) and romantic ambience

- for the food, both in tie

- but personally slightly prefer bonhexx because of the smile (a bit contradicted if environment was sunny and bright while the waitresses were cool and weren't warm) and the darker atmosphere. besides, the qly of the bread basket in bonhexx was far ahead of here
