The boss is a true Taiwanese and offers traditional Taiwanese snacks. This reminds me of previous team leaders and current bosses who are still in business, providing hometown snacks for Taiwanese people in Hong Kong and allowing those of us who enjoy traveling to Taiwan to experience the flavors of Taiwan when we can’t travel freely. The Taiwanese snacks they offer are actually quite good, with flavors and textures that closely resemble the authentic taste. However, due to the nature of being a takeout shop, it doesn‘t provide the same comfortable dining experience as a restaurant. The broth of the oyster vermicelli is thick and similar to a starchy sauce, which is a characteristic of Taiwan. The oysters are clean and have a fresh and sweet taste, which pairs well with the rich and savory taste of the large intestines. The braised pork rice has well-seasoned and fatty meat, combined with the sweet braising sauce, resulting in a fragrant and rich flavor. The potstickers are fried to a crispy texture on the outside, with thicker wrappers, which is not my preferred type, but they are more satisfying to eat and are well-made.
