細細個的時候,屋企人經常會帶我去上海舖,我最有印象是門口會有很多上海包點,紅豆包、菜肉包等等,但時而世易,這些老店已經被取代。而這間樂天皇朝卻令我想起這些老店,門口又是開放式廚房,望到廚師製作小籠包的過程。黑松露小籠包夾起小籠包時,外皮又韌性,點夾都唔穿,咬開裏面肉汁爆出,皮薄肉鮮還有黑松露香味。上海葱油大餅芝麻舖滿了整個餅,香葱味道濃郁,大餅外層帶點甜,不過有點油膩。龍華素鴨腐皮的產物,不是平常吃到的炸過的,反而以汁煮,完全不油膩。李白醉雞醉雞浸得入味,花雕味道濃郁,雞肉嫩滑充滿酒香,雞皮無油脂且爽口。皇朝擔擔拉麵帶點辣香及花生香味,拉麵較幼身,爽口彈牙,簡單好味。松子鮮果桂魚桂魚切花後炸至金黃香脆,一條條金黃色的魚肉配上酸甜汁,吸睛又開胃,魚肉嫩滑且新鮮,完全沒有魚腥味,反而有桂魚的清秬。宮廷驢打滾以為是熱既原來是凍的,糯米煙韌偏腍,但完全無因為凍了而硬,質感軟綿綿,加上紅豆蓉不會太甜,比豆沙窩餅更好吃。
