連續幾日落雨濕濕,但無損雅興,兩個人照樣去到金記冰室講起呢間冰室大有來頭,自1967年開業於筲箕灣,最初以大排檔式經營,因出名大件夾抵食,之後重開埋舖頭。2012年因捱唔住貴租結業,記得臨結業前幾日,我特登同朋友去幫襯懷舊一番。之後品牌被集團重新包裝再開業,我重去過觀塘間店食嘢!疫情期間,兩人檯,加咗塊透明膠膜,冷氣唔夠,焗兼空氣唔流通,越坐越熱選擇都幾多有中有西,除扒餐,特定碟頭飯外,仲有咖喱,另外只要加$15就可轉套餐,有湯有飯有餸,但今時唔同往日,碟頭飯閒閒哋都要收六,七十蚊,好在呢度唔收加一兩個人點咗一個晚市小菜同海南雞雞飯無骨海南雞,雞肉嫩滑,味道算鮮甜,雞油飯好食例湯不俗檸檬有四片,無苦澀味賣相不俗,菜心同牛肉都👌講明少油少鹽,上桌仍然幾油,扣分。整體而言,食物水準不俗,但集團式經營,以前街坊舖頭大件夾抵食已經揾唔番,祇能留喺回憶中
