To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 作為湯加食店開業以來的常客,這篇食評寫得格外沉重。我經歷兩次令人咋舌的用餐體驗。上週六點的外賣「豬肚雞湯飯」竟成文字遊戲——湯底只見數片薄如蟬翼的豬肚,雞肉蹤影全無。本以為是個別事件,本週五再試$79的「鮑魚姬松茸燉雞」,更見荒謬:燉盅內僅漂浮著兩塊柴口雞胸、一隻雞腳,所謂鮑魚不過是罐頭級別的一口尺寸。對比之前時多隻雞肉沉在湯中的盛況,如今份量恐怕只剩三成。從開業時每周必定光顧,到如今含淚撰寫這篇「絕交宣言」,見證的不只是食材縮水,更是經營者對食客的輕慢。當$79換不來一頓完整午餐的飽足感,當詢問缺料時只得到「今日廚房係咁安排」的敷衍回應。結語:筆者錢包與味蕾的雙重教訓,以後唔會再幫襯了。
