日式菜系一向深受港人歡迎,而近年興起的日式放題,更是開得成行成市,皆因一個定價已能享用刺身、壽司、燒物、炸物等等日系不同菜式,比起在日式食店單獨點菜來得化算,而筆者最近就造訪了尖沙咀半島中心一間日式放題餐廳,店內環境寬敞舒適,比起一般的日式放題小店坐得舒服自在,而鄰近入口處更設有自助取餐區,放有不同的前菜、飲品和甜品,種類選擇頗多,就像是酒店的自助餐一般,蠻有氣派的。細看點菜紙,原來食物的類別也不少,基本的刺身、壽司、燒物、炸物、一品料理和主食等都一應俱全。先點來刺身,以放題來說賣相還算精緻,魚生排列整齊,伴上乾冰添上煙霧效果,非常吸睛。刺身都是一般大路選擇,甜蝦、赤貝、帶子、蠑螺、馬刀貝、劍魚腩、三文魚、吞拿魚和希靈魚......全都頗為鮮美,而最特别是有松葉蟹腳供應,肉質結實鮮味,海水味濃厚,質素平均。而壽司的選擇也頗多,除了三文魚、赤貝、帶子和魷魚等一般款式外,還有花之戀、海膽魷魚和黑松露油甘魚等創意壽司,而火炙壽司如左口魚和鵝肝帶子也不錯,入口半溶,油香滿瀉。其他如香芒大蝦卷、牛油果軟殼蟹卷和海膽軍艦也是不錯,唯壽司飯調味和軟彈度有待改善,影響了口感。而熟食方面表現還算平穩,辣
