To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 台灣風絕不是一朝一夕就空降香港的,這裡是其中一間較早吹襲元朗的台灣食店。為了回味在台灣吃過的牛肉麵和鹽酥雞,這天便決定入元朗嘗一嘗這頗為出名的食店。點了招牌的牛肉麵和鹽酥雞扒來試味。牛肉麵先喝一口湯,不太濃味又不太辣,味道也沒甚麼層次,九龍城的大婆牛肉麵的湯明顯優勝。再試牛肉,入味但不濃味,而且很淋很易咬,吃落也不覺油膩,和大婆比是不相伯仲。份量也頗多,難怪我的爸媽有時也會去專誠造訪了。鹽酥雞扒單叫的鹽酥雞扒份量也不俗,整塊雞扒炸起香脆,口感的確和薯片相近。台灣的鹽酥雞扒通常也有調味粉選擇,這兒沒有呢。雞肉總算滑不鞋身,總括來說是很港式的鹽酥雞扒。當日在下午一時多到來,要在門口坐了,要等店內位置嘛?恐怕要等上半個鐘頭了。有機會會Encore牛肉麵。
