To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 知道18Grams很久, 但是一直沒有機會一嘗。這次想起2點好像有tea set, 便過來一探究竟。午飯人潮未退, 即使我只是一個人也要等位。等了不一會兒便被安排入庭, 是一張可容納8-10人的長木桌, 椅子也是長椅。有點回到學生時代lab枱的感覺桌上裝飾實用兩兼的啤啤 HKD68 tea set, 洋蔥黑椒德國腸+餐飲。第一次來, 先試house blend. 聞著很香, 果酸和苦味都不重, 很易入口。德國腸煎得蠻香, 周邊少少脆, 配著茄汁一口接著一口, 很快便吃完, 不過不夠飽於是又再單點Tiramisu. 玻璃杯載著的提拉米蘇, 最上放著鮮嫩的薄荷葉。cream軟滑重酒香, 甜度適中, 與蛋糕的比例剛剛好。雖然店子小小, 但是呷著咖啡, 聽著音樂, 人不其然能從工作中放鬆下來後感:一個星期之後再到18Grams點了piccolo latte (take out)小小一杯, 很濃郁的咖啡香, 奶味亦十足, 呷一口便回魂的感覺。比起house blend, 個人更喜歡這款, 亦令我想再試這兒的espresso了!
