有兩款雪糕可以揀,同友人各一試曬🍨芝麻雪糕既芝麻味香濃,而抹茶雪糕就奶味偏重,溶既速度亦都相對地較快

I have heard from others before that the chefs in this restaurant are able to serve the sushi platters in the format of omakase at the bar table. It was such a pity that we did not arrive as early as the other customers and the bar table was so full that we could only have our sushi platters in usual dining tables. However, I still love the ambiance in this restaurant as the glamorous lighting and decoration made me feel comfortable.


▪️ Deluxe Sushi Platter (9 pieces)💲368 (Lunch)


My lunch began with an appetizer which was the sliced carrot together with bean curd and a small salad bowl with balsamic vinegar. The steamed egg was also surprisingly good as the egg was warm and smooth with rich ingredients including mushroom, crab stick, conpoy and ginkgo.


In general, the sashimi of all the nine pieces were generous in portions whereas the vinegared rice were relatively small. Another point to note was that the chefs had added soy sauce and wasabi into all the vinegared rice. To mention anticlockwisely starting from the bottom left, the first one was fulvia mutica with an amazingly chewy texture. The second was isaki fish which had a soft and slightly grilled surface layer. The third was halibut. It was a bit disappointing since its fish oil was not rich enough even after searing. The fourth was sea urchin which was truly scrumptious with its creamy texture and sweetness. The fifth was shrimp with some fish roe on top but the shrimp shell was not completely removed though. The sixth was scallop. It was nicely seasoned with some yuzu and the freshness of scallop was leveled up. The seventh was snapper and it was topped with some seaweed which was refreshing. The eighth was horse mackerel with a noticeable fishy taste. The last one was toro yet the fatty tuna somehow failed to melt in my mouth fully due to the tendon in the middle.


I had a bowl of soothing miso soup afterwards. My friend and I were given the choices of either sesame or matcha ice cream as a wrap up. We decided to go for one each and share. The sesame ice cream had a pretty strong sesame taste whereas the matcha one was more of a milky than bitter taste.
