Restaurant: Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 位於尖沙咀麼地道永安廣場UG層的新意達(Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant), 主打正宗印度素菜。餐廳的員工全部都是和藹友善的印度人,落單時主要用英語對答,餐牌也是中英對照的,附有少量菜色的圖片,不怕看不懂。菜色的選擇多達一百款,令人眼花撩亂。雖然餐廳只提供素菜,但味道一點也不單調,充滿印度風味,頗有驚喜。晚上也有不少外籍人士來到用餐。(提示:菜色可能含有雞蛋或乳製品的成分啊)這次也是小妹第一次來這裡用餐,感覺頗淨潔衞生。Samosa 咖喱角 ($40)來到了,相比起港式咖哩角,這款咖哩角的size約有掌心般大,外皮是口感實淨的酥皮,脆脆的。綠色是薄荷乳酪醬汁,味道微酸而清新。裡面的餡料主要是青豆、薯仔蓉等,一個人吃一件已經頗為夠飽。接著來到的為蔬菜清湯 Vegetable Clear Soup ($50 ),及蘑菇湯 Mushroom soup ($45)。蔬菜清湯的味道頗清新,嚐到胡椒的味道,廚師還會細心地把各款蔬菜切成大小相約,連椰菜花也是小小的。蘑菇湯的質感相對較為濃,能嚐到奶油味,口感滑溜,不會像罐頭湯的味道。之後來到的為Aloo Masala 薯

之後來到的為Aloo Masala 薯仔咖哩 ($60)與及Naan 印度烤餅 ($30)。個人喜愛撕下一小塊印度烤餅,再dip落咖哩醬中。這款印度烤餅較為乾身,又不會太硬或太油膩,而且是落單後印度師傅新鮮製作的。

薯仔咖哩的味道則頗為香濃,有不同款的香料味縈繞在口腔內。餐廳把菜色的辣度調較至香港人的口味,更加平易近人呢。

Mushroom Kebab 烤蘑菇 ($90)來到了。蘑菇在烤之前塗上了少許特製醬汁,令蘑菇上桌時更加香口,另外的配菜包括青椒和洋蔥等。較為可惜的,就是烤的時候有少許過火了。
