To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 見是樓下新開的茶餐廳,就去試試,誰知中伏。首先,這茶餐廳把自己當快餐那樣做,食物不是即叫即做而是一早做好的。早餐的多士因為不是即焗,已經不脆了完全“淋”了;炒蛋好像有些出水了,水汪汪的;番茄肉碎湯粉的湯都沒有煲滾,都不夠熱。鮮茄焗豬扒飯也不像是即叫即焗,而像是一早焗好的,放了太久,所以已經不夠熱了。如果即叫即焗怎麼可能不熱呢?食物做好不是立即送來的,而是放在一架手推車上,要等齊一車不同客人的食物才會一起推出來,然後逐枱分派,派到一半又會突然走開去做其他事,做完後才又回來繼續派,這樣食物就更不夠熱了。而且他們沒有罩着食物,沒有任何保護,客人都在進食所以都是沒戴口罩的,假如推車途中有客人咳嗽實在不堪設想!
