To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一家人特登入嚟屯門試下個放題,仲決定11月7日姑媽生日再嚟過由於婚媽唔食牛既關係,點左唔同醬汁既豚肉比佢,味噌最好味牛脷大大塊,老公同姑姐密密食狂點牛肉咩部位都殺,大家都係牛魔王,好有牛味,醬汁都可以唔使點聽聞牛角飯同埋玉子飲好好食,我地各喎左一碗,紫菜卜卜脆,玉子蛋味濃我地一致比較鍾意薄切牛柳粒食得多到口軟,所以點左2轉,就轉晒一片片頭先講既味噌味老豆大讚紅口油豆腐,好香唔辣,好味過日本果d喎,佢自己一個隊左3兜中間山藥我都幾鍾意,叫左3,4轉,估唔到燒完乾身口感都幾好牛油唔記得咩菇,自己加d豉油仲好味,燒洋蔥真係一個學問,我地燒到黑晒臨尾見到個王樣蜜糖香腸,叫左3條5個人分,一嚟到勁大條…叫2條都夠,剪開好燒d,有埋好似蜜糖芥末醬,正最後經理送雪糕,口感比較稀但係落埋d豆粉一齊食,好正原來呢個叫牛角雪糕得姑媽一個食抹茶,茶味濃郁大家都食得好開心,臨走時店員仲笑住同我地個下個月再見推薦下次試下海觧食物有水準,員工笑容親切
