To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 早陣子有食家說吃火鍋是沒文化,應該要廢除,然後又有其他食家跑出來,說吃火鍋不知幾有文化,應該廢除的是自助餐云云。火鍋與自助餐,都讓人吃得好開心,一大班人聚在一起談天說地,抓自己喜歡的來吃,有甚麼不好?有文化與沒文化,還看個人修養吧。 而且誰說自助餐就一定沒水準呢?像我這晚在太子酒店吃的一頓,有矜貴海鮮、有美味泰菜,吃得滿足又開懷! add@Prince的泰菜十分有名,因為這裡有一位泰國大廚坐鎮,泰菜款式多又正宗,每一味都刺激味蕾,朋友囑咐我一定要喝冬蔭公,哪敢不從?勺了半碗,不太辣,帶微甜,裡面有鮮蝦和很多泰式香料,果然不錯。 「泰式海鮮沙律」和「泰式青木瓜沙律」都是我的推介,既酸且辣,非常開胃。 除泰菜以外,印度菜也是重點,多款印度咖喱和小食任君選擇,我偏愛重口味,所以這裡的泰印菜都很合胃口! 最新的自助餐主題是「海陸美饌」,「海」當然是指海鮮了,想回本不難,因為不乏矜貴海鮮,如生蠔、龍蝦、長蟹腳及青口等等,我特別喜歡蟹腳,粗身又鮮甜;另一最愛是龍蝦仔,每一隻都有蝦膏,十分滋味。 其他海鮮還有刺身、壽司和蒸魚等等,是晚刺身有三文魚、吞拿魚、希靈魚

至於海陸的「陸」就是指不同的肉類。朋友一馬當先就去吃了加拿大豬扒,肉色粉紅,質地軟嫰,其他肉類選擇還有德國豬肉腸、迷迭香烤羊架等。

每位客人都有一份「和牛伴松露醬」及「巴馬臣芝士焗波士頓龍蝦」,記得留肚。

吃到好飽了,再出去看看,在麵包corner的轉角處,竟然發現了「自助撈起」(之前還以為是普通沙律),太有趣了吧,有些帶子裙邊、中華沙律、魚生、薄脆等等,讓大家在旁邊的盆子裡撈個夠,新年快到,大家都來撈個風生水起吧!

我的肚子留了給甜品。餐廳有很多泰式甜品,泰式芒果糕甜而不膩,還有平時好喜歡吃的芒果糯米飯,可惜沒有椰汁糕呢,美中不足。

雪糕櫃也是叫人喜出望外的,有十款Mövenpick之餘,還有兩款阿波羅,我點了幾款喜歡的,怎麼都是啡色的?對呀,焦糖、特濃咖啡、楓糖合桃、朱古力,都是啡色的!朋友那杯就繽紛得多了,還加了蛋糕和窩夫呢,下次吧,讓我再來挑戰這雪糕櫃!
