To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 想打邊爐打得舒舒服服,小妹首選旺角一酒店里的《Canton Pot》,她家設獨立房間,而且湯底、配料至甜品都做得精緻具格調,讓打邊爐這件事變得貴婦起來。她家最近新推的湯底,分別是坊間較少見,藥材味較強的「肉骨茶」、酸香清新的「泰國冬蔭功紅蝦鍋」及味道鮮濃的「馬來西亞喇沙海鮮鍋」 既可作刺身,亦適合堂灼的「阿根廷紅蝦」,質感爽甜又多肉,令人吃得滿足! 「手工餃子」款式甚多,就連賣相也款款不一,盡顯大廚用心製作食物;名字有趣的「四合丸」粒粒以蝦肉、墨魚、蘆笋粒和金華火腿粒作食材並用人手打成,質感彈牙夠咸鮮,必吃!「本地牛頸脊」腍滑脂肪少,使人一件接一件的吃著;即炸的「響鈴」件頭大而豆味濃,教我如何不愛她!另,這里的飲品質素也不錯,如:獨特的「手工鹹檸啤」、「自家製竹蔗茅根」等... 跟好友暢飲一番也很棒! 每次到來,也會點選的「綠茶紅豆意大利白酒奶凍」,質感香滑又帶綠茶回甘,水準依然。感謝欣賞 KsMeow 小分享!
