We beat the weekday dinner rush (almost full at 8pm) and snagged a cozy seat by the bar. Instead of going for the set menus, we opted for a la carte to mix things up! Food and service was top-notch with reasonable prices. Before leaving, we also checked out the outdoor terrace for the view over cwb and stumbled upon Kaonashi (No Face from Spirited Away)Sea Urchin Cup with Salmon Roe HKD298They have a whole menu page dedicated to uni, so we just had to try a dish. We went for this gorgeous bowl filled with a layer of fresh salmon roe and creamy uni in the centre. The seasoning on both rolls was spot-on, especially the earthy black truffle paired with juicy scallops. Just don’t take too long snapping pics, or your seaweed might go soft! Grilled SkewersThese beauts (from the special menu) were grilled to perfection. We got some classics like Chicken Wing/Skin (HKD24 each), while the Chicken with Perilla Leaves (HKD24) was our absolute fave with its deliciously complex flavor.
