位於赫德道的瑞士餐廳,裝修很有瑞士小木屋的風味,適逢是白蘆筍的季節,餐廳特別設有德國白蘆筍主題的前菜及主菜共十多款。下單後侍應即端上多款自家製鬆軟麵包任君選擇,配上瑞士牛油,相當不錯。前菜是薯蓉焗田螺,田螺已去殼啖啖肉,配上幼滑薯蓉,塗麵包也非常好吃。主菜是香煎銀鱈魚配白蘆筍及薯仔,鱈魚香滑,加上手指搬粗大的清甜白蘆筍,完全沒有油膩感。另外,特色招牌菜之一的瑞士炒牛仔肉配蘑菇忌廉汁薯餅,切成小片的牛肉嫩滑,加上蘑菇忌廉汁及煎香的薯餅,出奇地配搭。其實主菜已相當飽肚,所以最終吃不下甜品呢。

地點比較難找,兜了一大個圈才去到餐廳門口,餐廳環境優雅,枱與枱之間相距比較遠,方便談話,餐廳主要做瑞士美食,叫了芝士火鍋、瑞士炒牛仔肉配蘑菇忌廉汁薯餅、忌廉青口,請職員推薦了無酒精飲品,好欣賞餐廳裏男職員很有心,仔細解釋了飲品是如何製作的,感覺到職員非常喜歡這間餐廳,亦在用心服務客人。上前菜前先上麵包,有三款可以選擇,麵包很新鮮,但芝士火鍋跟以往在瑞士吃到的不一樣,瑞士的芝士火鍋酒味非常濃烈,很苦,相對於這裏的芝士火鍋無論酒味及芝士味道都很淡,可能因應香港人的口感而作出調節。另外兩款食物好吃,但偏鹹了一點。看到其他食評說甜品很好吃,可惜冇機會試。另外可能做瑞士餐的餐廳在香港比較冷門,價錢偏貴了。

- Bad value for money - traditional fondue, all u get is cheese fondue and just bread. Can’t really taste the wine in the fondue. You get much better value and authenticity and satisfaction from something doing this at home. Get creative and DIY at cafe de coral.

- it’s unfair to customers who pay this money for such service and sub-par food quality.

Be competitive, do it properly, or close it down.

The challenge of eating a cuisine so foreign to us requires trusting the restaurant to make good recommendations. And The Swiss Chalet did just that! Every single item recommended by their waiting staff was absolutely delicious.

The homemade bread and butter kicked start a series of wonderful dishes, one after another. Nobody could pick their savory favorite, because each was good.

The dessert clearly stood out after a rounds of cheese. The baked rhubarb was smooth and warm. Though we shared 1 dessert between 4 adults, I think could have easily eaten it all by myself.

今次泥到呢間正宗瑞士餐廳,一嚐他們招牌的芝士火鍋。頭盤我們叫了一份白酒忌廉煮青口,圖中可見青口比較細隻,不過配上既白酒忌廉,口感還是不錯。我們叫了兩個芝士火鍋,一個是瑞士傳統的芝士火鍋,另一個我們叫了有酒味的芝士火鍋。我個人比較喜歡傳統芝士火鍋,非常creamy,配上麵包真係好好味。而有酒味的芝士火鍋酒味很濃,搶了芝士的味道,我個人不是太喜歡。兩個芝士火鍋配上2份麵包,想嘗試一下蔬菜點知是需要另外叫。因此我們點了一份蔬菜,西蘭花和薯仔同芝士好夾,好味。另外,我哋做一份蘑菇豬肉配薯餅同埋銀雪魚。除了薯餅外,其他食物質素都很普通。銀雪魚略嫌有點兒腥,不是太新鮮。薯餅外脆內軟,推薦。甜品我哋叫了一個signature 的,但不知道是什麼。上面黃色那些是吉士,下面是一些很酸很酸的醬。紅色的醬實在太酸了,除了酸味,完全不知道吃了什麼。
