星期日梗係要搵下好野食, 同朋友係新城市行完街, 去左7樓睇下有咩食, 見到呢間餐廳環境幾好就入左去呢間餐廳一睇個名就知道係食豬既專門店,地方夠晒大,牆上面仲有好多豬仔嘅裝飾,真係好得意Piggy Riblets:呢個豬肋骨脆粒,每一粒都炸得好脆,一定要沾埋佢嗰醬,同香口嘅脆粒好襯Spaghetti OmniPork Bolognese:意粉軟硬適中,原來呢隻OmniPork嘅口感同真嘅豬肉完全冇分別,我一定會再encoreSlow Cooked Crackling Pork Belly:呢個超出色,睇佢嗰個餐牌簡介話會用豬最好嘅部位黎做菜,果然冇講錯,淨係睇呢道慢煮豬腩肉,不但皮脆,下層嘅燶邊同埋中層嘅晶瑩嘅豬肉,竟然可以做到三種層次,果然係用優質嘅豬肉黎整嘅Go Banana Sundae:最後食埋呢個新地,佢嘅窩夫加埋上面嘅m&n 配埋雪糕,又多重嘅味道呢間餐廳一定要book位,因為食食吓間餐廳已經full House continue reading

豬、牛、雞、魚等各種肉類當中,個人對豬肉的喜愛程度向來相對較低,這次在朋友推薦下到訪沙田新城市廣場的The Salted Pig一試卻令我喜出望外,雖然顧名思義是一間主打豬肉菜式的餐廳,但不論豬肉或其他食物都面面俱圓。除了招牌德國鹹豬手、歐式脆皮乳豬及慢煮醬燒豬肋骨等豬肉料理之外,更有燒斧頭牛扒、經典英式炸魚薯條、西班牙海鮮飯等各式各樣的美食,從小食以至是意粉或甜品都一應俱全,選擇比想像中豐富。慢煮脆皮豬腩 ($228)雖然豬腩往往予人一種肥膩的感覺,但這份脆皮豬腩卻能做到肥而不膩,配以薯仔沙律、烤甘筍及蘆筍,豬腩外層烤得鬆脆之餘又不如中式燒肉般硬實,肥瘦均稱而肉質軟嫩,脂香豐腴配以酸酸辣辣的香辣醋汁恰好能夠中和油膩感,雜菌松露意大利飯 ($168)意大利飯雖然比起正宗意大利飯稍為軟糯,但口感稠密細緻亦保持粒粒飽滿,除了混入大量雜菌之外醬汁本身帶有濃厚馥郁的黑松露香,加上芝士與忌廉令感覺更加綿密香醇。墨西哥芝士新豬肉薄脆 ($148)最近新推出三款以「新豬肉」炮製而成的素食菜式,令素食者在這裡用餐都能夠大飽口福,相當貼心。墨西哥芝士新豬肉薄脆配上番茄沙沙、牛油果醬、純素車打芝士及欖欖,味道實在以假亂真,另外更有蘇格蘭溏心炸雞蛋和新豬肉肉醬意粉選擇。Apple Delight ($82)雲呢拿雪糕加上煙韌的蜂巢蜜、粒粒蘋果醬、Mascarpone忌廉、香脆的核桃與脆餅令口感相當豐富,但以價格而言份量實在太少,而且感覺上技巧不多不算太物有所值。The Salted Pig’s “Tea” ($88)出乎意外地這裡的雞尾酒選擇絕不比一般酒吧少,而這款以餐廳名稱命名的相信就是招牌款式,有芒果、長島冰茶、士多啤梨或酸蘋果四種口味,加上Gin、冧酒及伏特加調製而成。士多啤梨香蕉乳酪奶昔 ($68)滴酒不沾的我還是選擇個人最愛的奶昔,面層唧滿忌廉,口感綿密細滑而味道酸甜自然,另外美祿香蕉、奇異果藍莓蜜糖、藍莓芝士及OREO曲奇朱古力忌廉奶昔都相當吸引。 continue reading

又係豬豬時間!之前已試過兩間分店,今次黎埋沙田呢間分店試試~~~嘩勁多人! 之前都講過,叫得做豬豬餐廳,The salted pig係招牌菜式而出名,餐廳會選用豬嘅最好部位 確保用優質同埋新鮮嘅食材製作食物~~小食豬肋骨脆粒配波本酒楓糖醬用左豬肋骨切成粒狀再炸,即點即炸,熱辣辣,脆卜卜,調味得宜,骨香肉酥,加埋佢哋嘅波本酒楓糖醬,完美中豬肋骨中嘅油膩感,係款絕佳嘅酒吧小食~~前菜:墨西哥芝士新豬肉薄脆呢款係素食嚟架,新豬肉係未來肉嘅一種,而呢個NACHOS入面仲有蕃茄莎莎,牛油果醬,欖欖,純素車打芝士,咁多款加埋一齊口感味道都好豐富。嚟到主菜啦!慢煮脆皮豬腩係一大舊嘅脆皮豬腩肉,見到豬皮烤到脆脆切開時有清脆嘅聲音,而皮下嘅肉仍然嫩滑多汁,油脂滿溢,食落雖然會有啲似廣東燒腩仔,但係呢個肉質比較嫩滑,再蘸埋香辣醋汁就更加惹味可口。最尾就梗係試埋甜品啦~瘋狂!香蕉雪糕新地呢杯新地好大杯,兩個人一齊食就啱啱好,入面有蛋香滿滿嘅窩夫,軟綿綿嘅綿花糖,香脆口感嘅朱古力豆,當然唔少得嘅係有香蕉同雪糕啦!最後要介紹埋兩杯mocktail: Tango(右):甜蜜探戈柚子茶,西柚紅莓菠蘿汁,士多啤梨,梳打。呢款果味濃郁,喺呢個夏天將至嘅時候飲就最啱。Mango mule(左):芒果青瓜特飲再加埋蜜糖柚子,薑汁汽水,喺香甜嘅果汁汽水中帶有青瓜清新嘅味道,好啱食左啲油膩野飲。 continue reading
