星期五晚,同朋友chill下,去左食炸雞飲汽水,放鬆下☺️New Orleans Hot Chicken($90)成個配搭好惹味😚雞嫩滑、脆脆地,再加埋辣粉同沙律醬,辣下辣下咁真係有少少上癮☺️Chicken poppers ($60)兩啖一件,兩個人不知不覺就食哂🤯脆卜卜,而且食落juicyHot fries ($60)哇超大碟!薯味好重,但唔係脆身戈款Ginger beer($30)好耐冇飲😍配炸雞一流!過了very heavy的一晚🙈

Awesome food. Great experience. That chicken was Juicy AF. try a bloody Mary for an extra piece of chicken on top of the drink! Stuck in a gentrified alleyway in Central, its cutely tucked in between a building and has a cool diner vibe. Everyone that works there is pretty chill, service is great, warm and friendly. We were able to go on a free flow brunch day so it was really busy, but they still managed to keep the chicken flowing out the kitchen. Definitely recommend trying the chicken sandwich or the skewer as these had the best tastes overall.

好友知道我鍾意食炸雞,所以今日帶我來The Chicken bar試下呢度嘅炸雞,佢保證跟我食開一般的炸雞有不同風味,咁我一定要試吓啦!餐廳以開放式設計,配以高凳和bar枱,適合和朋友傾吓計,食吓炸雞,幾輕鬆自在。餐廳以自助形式,揀完食物就可以落order, menu以雞為主食,但也有Waffle, 炸薯條和沙律。天氣咁熱,緊係要叫埋罐冰凍嘅Coke$25和Ginger Beer$35解吓渴啦。New Orleans Hot Chicken$90+Hot Fried$60~辣雞三文治有2份,美國雞扒以幾種不同的辣椒醃製,但不算太辣,外層鬆脆,肉質鮮嫩juicy, 配以青瓜和沙律醬,酸酸辣辣,非常惹味。Hot Fried$60~薯條炸得非常鬆脆,其實好好食,但真的非常辣,蘸千島醬可中和辣味,喜歡吃辣的真是要來挑戰一下。Chicken Fingers$60~雞件大大件,啖啖肉,無骨,肉質非常非常嫩滑,原來在炸雞之前先在雞肉上篤上小孔,令肉的纖維放鬆,所以肉質才不會乾和嚡。Chicken Fingers很辣,但配上蜜糖中和一下就變得更滋味。

7月6日,係國際炸雞日,大家當日有冇食下炸雞慶祝下?食炸雞當然唔係淨係食KFC或者麥當勞,大把選擇,問題係要有新鮮感和特別嘅先好介紹,對嗎?我反而想介紹當日去嘅呢間專賣炸雞嘅bar,係鼎鼎大名嘅the iron fairies 隔離,聽聞呢度嘅炸雞幾出色,一於試下。當然係得蘇豪區,可能你會話呢度主要做外國人生意,咁炸雞又會唔會做得出色?答案係不錯,一齊睇下有乜好食,也算係韓式炸雞同西式炸雞之間攞到一個平衡。不過最出名係佢標榜用本地嘅三黃雞來做炸雞,呢個絕對有誠意有驚喜。呢個炸雞set,有好多唔同款式,有雞翼,有雞柳,有雞扒三文治,再有薯角等等,各式其式。最鍾意係呢個雞肉三文治,麵包烘得勁脆,入面嘅雞肉都好香好脆,飽肚之選。呢度可以淨係叫一份雞肉三文治,同台灣嘅早餐一樣非常大份。個人都幾喜歡炸雞串,啖啖肉完全唔使食到骨,算係炸雞懶人包。雞翼又係好精彩,最能欣賞到佢嘅雞皮處理,又唔會太鹹。基本上好食到即刻叫多咗兩隻炸雞翼來食。最令人有新鮮感嘅一定係呢個炸雞翼配bloody Mary,如果你係血腥瑪莉嘅粉絲,你一定會好鍾意呢個配搭,食完飲番啖,好爽,而且呢度嘅血腥瑪莉酒精夠強,有時炸雞唔一定要配啤酒的。當然如果你唔飲酒,其實都有好多選擇,呢一個西柚汁基本上台台都叫,透心涼之選。喺蘇豪區happy hour的時候,如果你想食下野,唔一定要食生蠔,食下炸雞都不錯呀。好似今日大部份嘅客人都係女士,全部都大啖大啖炸雞,另一手揸住支啤酒,好不高興。疫情關係,蘇豪都少咗好多人,我諗如果疫情好返,呢度絕對係附近嘅一個好嘅蒲點。The Chicken Bar 中環砵甸乍街45號The Steps ‧ H Code地下3號舖
