The interior was a fusion of Italian and local Hong Kong culture. This made for a very unique first impression. Notice how the graffiti on the wall was made up of a combination of Hong Kong celebrities and pizza parlours and signs. The warm ambience and the cute bar up front makes for a very cozy and relaxing environment.There were a wide variety of pizza choices. We ended up with Mr. Potato and Angus beef. Mr. Potato because it'd be interesting to see how well a combination of two carbs, potatoes and flour, goes together, and also because I've never seen potato being used as a pizza topping before. In reality however, after tasting the pizza, the star of the pizza actually wasn't the potato, but was the guanciale, who stole the show away with its crunchiness and saltiness. And as for Angus beef, well who wouldn't want Angus beef on their pizza right. This said, while I was expecting slices of the beef, the beef was actually served in the form of minced beef, causing the pizza to lack extremely in terms of the flavor from the Angus beef.Overall, the pizzas were underwhelming. The crunchy and chewy crust was probably the only good thing about it. Although the pizzas were authentically Italian in that they were baked in a wood fire oven, the ingredients and taste didn't taste very authentic at all. While Italian pizzas are typically slightly oily and moist, these were not.
