平時見到好多人排隊等位,今日行過見未算好多人排隊,點都試下先。等位唔算好耐,等位過程同時都係點餐時間,入座就要交上點心紙,果然好有效率,當然之後可以再叫啦…一開店既點心好唔好食,一試腸粉就知皮不厚,香滑,好味每樣點心都熱騰騰,欣賞我地仲叫左咖哩土魷、鮮竹卷、牛拍葉…仲有其他點心,太餓未影相就已食晒了…哈哈…下次要試下粟米粥,好多人叫咁。其實都多遊客食呢間點心,職員好友善咁招待。唯獨多人等位,食飽不宜佔位咁耐。

阿媽成日想試一點心, 但常常都好多人排隊, 趕時間時真的無緣吃。 難得一個下午, 我地食得好開心, 因為食左五樣食物, 計埋茶錢都只係百幾蚊。食物質素唔差, 我份外喜歡它的魚湯鮮竹卷及蟹皇燒賣。鮮竹卷脹脹的, 餡很足夠, 吃下啖啖肉, 比起平時平平空空的, 它真的用料十足, 如果魚湯再鮮d 就好, 但這價錢是很值的。 同樣的啖啖肉, 蟹皇燒賣好實在, 吃時不但能吃到鮮肉味, 其肉沒有肥豬肉, 很爽的口感! 愛吃炸物的我們, 吃到酸甜炸雲吞時, 我更理解為何這店領過獎, 就是連雲吞中的蝦, 它絕不馬虎, 都是大大粒蝦肉, 外皮脆但絕不油膩, 配合酸甜十足的醬汁, 太好吃了! 還有是家鄉咸水角, 我俾十個讚! 它的外皮脆, 咬下脆後再軟身, 餡料豐富, 最重要是它脹卜卜, 食完想再吃。最後是古法炸蛋散, 是我第二次吃, 以前吃時感覺很差, 今次推翻了。 它不油但鬆化, 而且充滿口感, 它上面加了沙糖, 花生, 椰絲和糖膠。 雖然偏甜, 但新穎且好吃。收埋張單, 滿意度再提升。直得一試!

每次經過門口,拎完非都要等一個鐘,結果冇一次食到。今次終於晨早經過,竟然唔駛等位可以入坐,所以終於可以會一會不佢。一直以為多人等,一定係好野,點知今次伏左。首先馬拉糕,水氣太重,唔夠乾身,而且一開六,每件大少參差很大😣另外,菜乾粥D菜乾煲得唔夠淋😣而雞扎外面張腐皮,非常厚,而且切口很整齊,差D以為係機整。其他果兩樣,standard 同冇特別。食過之後,就算唔駛等都應該冇下次。只係諗唔明,除左遊客之外,點解仲有咁多人去食!

每次經過太子都見到呢間店門外大排長龍,好多次都想試吓,但要等成個鐘,仲要坐得鬼咁迫,真係有D卻步。出於羊群心態,今次終於決心一試……果然要等一個鐘,我去花墟走了一大輪都未到!老闆响門外叫我寫好点心紙才入座,仲話只可落一次單,不可加單(唉,咁嘅服務態度!!!)此店嘅點心係抵食係好吃嘅,但堂食的話,真係坐得幾唔舒適,缺茶要等侍應得手才加俾你,這樣嘅進食環境,試一次就夠了!

Me and my fiancé queued up for this restaurant in the pouring rain, they estimated an hour’s wait so we returned at that time, they estimated another half an hour. We just ordered takeaway after that as we live nearby. The first thing I noticed is that they had a lot of empty tables that weren’t being filled, in fact it took on average 10 minutes for a table to be seated. The efficiency isn’t the best for that caliber of restaurant, I expected better for the amount of people waiting in line.

Pros:
- Takeaway was pretty fast, it only took 10 minutes for us to get our food.
- The menu was in many different languages, although some were still in Cantonese, eg. chiu chow, I’m not sure what that’s meant to be.
- The char siu bao (pork bun) was pretty delicious. They were huge and the char siu inside was really tasty, there was bold flavours and the bao itself was bouncy and soft.
- The har gau was also great, there was a lot of prawn inside which was very delicious.

Cons:
- The beef balls were pretty soggy, the taste was ok but the amount of water was in there broke any taste down. Very strange texture.
- The fried egg dumplings were very hard, the taste was very sweet, much more than any other restaurant, not to my liking. Also there was very little filling inside.
- The har cheung fan (prawn rice dumpling) was extremely disappointing, in the past it has been one of my favourite foods and I expect a lot from it. Firstly, there wasn’t any prawn inside the dumpling at all, what little there was of the dumpling was sprinkled with spring onions and topped with a small amount of tiny, fishy smelling prawns. The smell and taste was so bad I couldn’t even eat it. Really disappointing compared to other restaurant.
- The lai wong bao (custard bun) was also disappointing. The bun itself was ok, it was soft and tasty, but the custard inside was extremely thick. It was more eggy and less sweet than I like, even my fiancé didn’t like it and couldn’t finish it.


In conclusion, in my experience it really isn’t worth the hype. There was a few things that were really delicious but not enough for the restaurant to have this amount of people queuing for so long. It really isn’t worth it.

呢個麻蓉好正,但一夾其實唔多想食,油到無朋友,連個托紙都已經油淋淋,食左一粒 我估我食左2茶匙油入口了,失望x2。

不過整體還是不錯,如果同今次一樣唔駛等位,以每日約$50點費,一定會再黎。

總結呢一餐,雖然的確係不過不失,
但係太子有咁多其他選擇,
我覺得我試過嘅其他點心鋪都做得比佢好,
真心唔明點解咁多人排隊,同埋咁多遊客黎食。

如果介紹一樣香港美食給外國友人,相信不同人會有不同答案,但每一次我有外國朋友來香港,我都必然帶他們一嚐港式飲茶的風味,其中一間最常去的就是一點心。雖然這晚橫風橫雨,但進去以後,發現也照樣高朋滿座,其中還有幾張洋人面孔,看來壞天氣也阻擋不了一點心的受歡迎。看著這價格,每次兩個人來結帳都不會超過200塊,只收4塊錢茶錢又不加一,實在划算。薑蔥牛柏葉,香蔥味道很濃郁,牛柏葉份量適中,略嫌薑絲多了一點,整體很好吃。古法馬拉糕,鬆軟蓬鬆的口感,味道不會太甜,非常香的雞蛋味。份量足的我吃一片就覺得很飽。鮮蝦菜苗餃,皮薄而晶瑩剔透,顆顆飽滿,一口咬下去先是原隻蝦仁,再是鮮嫩翠綠的蔬菜,一點點蒜香味把餡的增加了風味。我最喜歡這個鮮蝦腐皮卷,雖然包了滿滿餡料,但是腐皮完全不會軟掉,還是保持著鬆脆口感,餡料蝦仁香菇馬蹄混合一起,顆粒大而分明,不會像餃子一樣什麼都剁在一起。很有口感。咖哩土魷,魷魚超級大塊,吃下去爽口而不硬,咖喱味香濃不漏。吃的時候要小心喔,一不小心咖喱汁會彈到衣服😉,因為魷魚太大塊了。我們兩個人吃了7籠點心已經非常飽,可是結帳也才160元,人均80塊錢,便宜得不得了。最重要是一點心的點心味
