週五落班之後想義大利菜,係網上search到呢間餐廳,見到好評唔少而且唔係好遠,就決定係呢度食dinner,前菜就點咗生蠔,呢度有各地產地的蠔好多選擇,生蠔每隻都好肥美,味道夠鮮甜,好食,我嗌咗個安格斯牛扒,朋友就係香煎三文魚配南瓜義大利飯,牛扒過熟了,口感麻麻地,朋友個義大利飯南瓜味淡淡的,三文魚食落都唔錯,不過米飯味道無咩味,好清淡,甜品係心太軟,比較甜。

我覺得好好味喎, 又唔會太濃.
豬扒就等咗15分鐘左右, 拎上枱就知點解咁耐, 因為真係煎得好靚, 帶少少燶同金黃色,
面頭有個應該係芥末醬, 呢個醬真係好配豬扒!!
豬扒煎得啱啱好, 面脆內腍, 重有少少肉汁, 唔會好 "鞋".

食完就要杯熱咖啡, 呢杯係屬於好濃既口味, 仲配埋暖熱咗既鮮奶, 正!!

Got introduced that there is a oyster promotion in this restaurant where you can have oysters half priced and selected oysters at $10 each, and came for a visit on a Sunday nightWe attended with 5 persons and ordered a dozen of oysters to try out the quality first Smaller ones on the right hand side are the USA Pacific Rock, originally priced at $36 each, now on promotion $18 each. And as we ordered the normal dinner set, we can add the 6 pieces of Pacific Rock at a further reduction of $10 each

Smaller ones on the right hand side are the USA Pacific Rock, originally priced at $36 each, now on promotion $18 each. And as we ordered the normal dinner set, we can add the 6 pieces of Pacific Rock at a further reduction of $10 each! The ones on the left hand side are Fine De Claire , discounted from $56 each to $28 each. Freshness of oysters are guaranteed and are of good quality. All my family members liked the quality and hence we ordered another round

With 6 Fine De Claire and 6 St Vaast. St Vaast are more milky and chewy then Fine De Claire but the freshness of the latter is also more than satisfactory. As we have ordered a dozen oysters in addition to the $10 x 6 special offer Pacific Rocks, we also enjoyed a promotion of a free bottle of white wine

This is the main course of the $297 set dinner, which included salmon tartare toast, soup, main course of foie gras with beef tenderloin (or option of pork chop or salmon), and dessert (they had forgotten to give us the dessert😞) . Foie gras was of large size and the beef tenderloin was cooked to an above standard quality. Nice main course as the two items combined delivered a satisfactory and fulfilling tastebud experience and was highly recommended !

Also ordered one more dish of carbo for the gents
Squid ink seafood risotto. It’s kind of funny that it’s served on a flat plate, amount was a bit too less if you are ordering it as the main for a male. The texture of the risotto could be softer and chewier, a bit more cooking could also help increase the sauce’s thickness. I suspect it was cooked using seafood broth, as the taste was generally nice with hints of freshness within the risotto sauce.

Overall a recommended restaurant for fine dining with family. Per head around $300’s expense, yet it’s worthy especially we got have 5 oysters per person ! Will come again for the oyster offer!

The only thing that Marco and Gordon Ramsey has in common is that Marco's Oyster Bar & Grill resembles the "before" restaurant in Chef Ramsey's hit show: "Kitchen Nightmares".Below is a quick run down of the dishes ordered:HKD ~150 - a tiny plate of carbonara pasta which wasn't even prepared that well. Below is a quick run down of the dishes ordered:

HKD ~150 - a tiny plate of carbonara pasta which wasn't even prepared that well. Contained a few paltry slices of ham and nothing else. 

HKD ~150 - burrata salad containing a generous 4 slices of mozarella/burrata, mixed greens and 2 slices of what was clearly store-bought, poor quality prosciutto. You could literally source everything from the Park n Shop next door for half the price.

HKD ~180 - pizza combo (salad, soup and pizza). Mama mia this pizza was something else and was the most interesting thing I've tasted during my time here. Pizza with an Asian twist (think Boston Restaurant or Tsui Wah's Russian Borscht, not actual fusion), containing a sugary-sweet tomato sauce and boasting the visual characteristics of a frozen pizza.

Fun fact, did you guys know that there are proper alternatives for western/Italian food just a few minutes down the road? For the same amount of money you could be treated to a legitimate burrata salad with a full orb of mozzarella, a pasta with more toppings than just bacon shavings and a pizza that is not only larger but actually resembles a real, professionally made pizza. 

One thing is clear, Marco's Oyster Bar & Grill was truly a once in a lifetime experience - but that is only because I will never return again.

It was just average pasta, nothing special. I ordered cabonara, I think I can cook better for $168. My son ordered a dinner set with salmon, he said nothing special at all, fried salmon for $298. We went for an early dinner at 5.30pm but should have been cautious when there were no other customers.

Some of the dishes weren’t available as they were out of basic Italian foods like burrata. We ordered a bottle of wine and 3 main dishes. 2 of which arrived. They were small, over cooked and bland yet cost upwards of $150. The 3rd dish didn’t arrive, so not sure if it was a kitchen or ordering issue. But either way we cancelled and got the bill. The bill still came to $814 for 2 mains, a bottle of wine and a juice. Waaaay too much.

Feel rather disappointed and even conned by the whole experience. We left and grabbed pizza from round the corner on Mosque Street.

最後就係服務,餐廳服務一流。首先,侍應哥哥非常有禮貌,笑容親切。其次,每上一道餸,侍應哥哥都會主動幫我地換上新碟,以確保我地試到最好既味道,上菜速度亦十分合理。最後,再想讚一讚侍應小哥哥,服務態度非常好,總能在最合適的時候出現,提供幫助,然後再迅速消失,完全吾會打擾到我同朋友傾計。

總括而言,Macro's Oyster Bar & Grill,服務態度一流,食物質素不錯,價錢偏貴,但勝在浪漫的氣氛及舒適的環境,是一個十分適合與朋友相聚的好地方。

果然咬落去皮脆肉香非常惹味,就算係雞胸肉都唔會好似平時咁好鞋口,仲隱約食到淡淡嘅蜜糖味,有d BBQ嘅味道😍

Margherita Pizza其實即係蕃茄羅勒水牛芝士薄餅,一道傳統菜看似基礎,但絕對可以體現到師傅嘅功架!鬆軟口感嘅餅底,蕃茄香味增添一絲清新,芝士濃郁,好邪惡🙊🙊

最近喜歡有live band 既餐廳,所以朋友就帶左我黎呢於半山既意大利餐廳!餐廳有户外同室內,我想聽live band 就stay 係室內享受下!生蠔都係呢度既主打,我就叫左半打,蠔身都好大隻同肥美,好鮮甜!而且如果叫一打生蠔,仲會送一支紅酒或白酒呢!湯我就叫左個牛肝菌蘑菇忌廉湯,超級濃郁,忌廉好香,仲有蘑菇既碎粒,好足料!另外仲叫左個辣肉腸薄餅,鋪滿哂拉絲芝士既薄餅好吸引,配堆餅底既蕃茄醬好夾,薄餅好鬆軟,正!甜品叫左個提拉米蘇,入口好creamy ,帶點酒香,外觀都好吸引!一路聽住美妙既歌聲,再一邊食住飯,感覺好有情調,十分滿意既一餐飯

再一次因為工作到了港島區,完成工作天已黑齊,決定食完晚飯再回家,網上話附近有間生蠔專門店是平民價位,於是和同事過去試試。門面以鮮藍色為主色,一入餐廳已非常有歐洲小店的感覺,選了窗邊的座位坐下,可能剛完成工作身水身汗,感到冷氣有點不夠,不過坐了一會兒就覺得還好。侍應很快便遞上餐牌,並詢問我們要不要先叫生蠔試試,但由於我們已非常肚餓,所以叫了兩個set dinner share,亦加了6隻生蠔作前菜。生蠔和餐飲很快便送上,大大隻生蠔賣相吸引,食落亦非常新鮮,直情食到佢浸海水味!生蠔過後就是set dinner的沙律和餐湯,不得不提餐湯非常美味,每一啖都充滿着攪碎了的蘑菇,濃濃的蘑菇味絕對是蘑菇忌廉湯的精髓!主菜分別是豬手和rib eye,豬手的皮夠香脆,肉質鬆軟好食!rib eye脂肪分布均勻,口感較為結實。埋單合共$800,價錢不算便宜,但在半山區環境下晚餐,價錢不算離地太多!
