牛肋牌聽說是慢烤6小時後裹上芥末洋蔥脆皮的熟成牛肋排,配以辣根奶油及牛肉汁,店員在我們面前分切上枱,牛肉肉質好嫩又多汁,不過略嫌肥膏較多,而且這份量來說,$988的價格比較高。

三款英國芝士有軟芝士、硬芝士及藍芝士,個人最喜歡硬芝士,因為吃下有種沙粒感,味道亦夠濃,另外配以榅桲醬(味道像軟熟的山楂餅)、無花果杏仁蛋糕、橙花蜜、香梨及黑麥餅,有別於平日吃的芝士拼盤。

首先很感謝我朋友帶我來這家一直很想嚐嚐的餐廳慶祝生日😂最好先在官網預訂,以及需要先付訂金餐廳外觀就像個英式古堡好漂亮樓高兩層,閣樓是private table 一到門口就有welcome drinks是香檳食物方面推薦Magistracy's Endive & Stilton Salad($248)和Prime Rib($988)那個牛肋排很有儀式感,在席前分切奉上肉質軟嫩,我朋友說比他在國外吃到的還要好吃😂沙拉就比較特別的口感和有咸甜交錯的味道至於其他菜式和甜品都性價比不高😂慶祝生日的話會送你一張手寫生日卡走的時候還送了一份小酥餅讓你帶回家💕

Moreover, the seating arrangement was very frustrating. We were placed under the stairs, which was an odd location to have a table. It made me wonder why the restaurant would even consider setting up tables in such an inconvenient location. It felt like they were trying to make more money by cramming tables into every possible corner, regardless of how impractical it was. The waitstaff seemed to be aware of this issue and kept telling us that it was their favorite spot because they could observe everyone. It was just ridiculous.

Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The subpar food and questionable seating arrangement made for a disappointing dining experience.

好優雅嘅英式餐廳,本來諗住只係來「食景打卡」,估唔到食物同服務都不錯,其實一向唔識英國「國菜」有咩出名,只知道「fish & chips」,所以叫咗多寶魚,都有幾種魚可以選擇,佢哋煮嘅魚又幾好味喎👍,side dish甘荀同菠菜又好新鮮同好夾。最鍾意就係signature洋蔥湯,味道超好又多洋蔥。環境方面一定周圍都影到靚相,正式晚餐前係外面飲杯嘢先,好似置身歐洲。成餐飯感覺都好似去咗外國,英式古堡feel. 樓上閣樓仲有可以坐8人嘅private table. 一定會再同朋友來🤩。

Finally got to try this beautiful newly opened restaurant locate at Tai Kwun! The grand setting is absolute stunning, tbh, I didn’t expect too much about their food, I thought this would be just another fancy restaurant with mediocre food, turns out food was quite delectable too. For sure everything is pricey here, but given that such spectacular environment and superb service, I think is acceptable to pay a little more. we tried most of their signature dishes, the prime rib was so flavourful and tender, the soufflé was wonderful as well, and must order their side dish confit potatoe, is in mille feuille style, delish!

Lucky enough that we got to try both main dining room and Terrace (botanical garden), both space look extremely beautiful, my booking was at Terrace, and they moved us inside for dessert after we mentioned is too windy outside.

Overall, we definitely had a delightful dining experience here, is not cheap but at least I was very full 😂 food portion was quite generous. Service was very attentive.
I probably won’t try again as lots alternative with same price, but I do think it’s worth trying for at least once. Great choice for special occasions!

Originally I could visit earlier but it was closed due to typhoon. After some negotiations, got reschedule to an acceptable date. So here I am! Tried to reach them via Tai Kwun plaza. Realized there’s no sign at all. I was wandering for 10 mins before I could find the entrance. Arrived early so started the evening with a G&T at their garden. Arrived early so started the evening with a G&T at their garden. Luca greeted me nicely and served me the welcome champagne.


There’s around 20 gin you can select. I had one Sipsmith gin and it was nice!

The garden is quite pleasant with lot of plants. It’s a great spot for some drinks and snacks.

The dining room is glamorous for sure. They also have some interesting paintings on the wall.


A guy approached us and checked if we need some recommendations. But at the end, he actually just read the menu once without introducing or recommending anything.

All my friends know i love aji and i love crudo, ceviche or just sashimi. This is probably the leanest aji i had ever had. The dressing didn’t add any effects to the fish. Can’t taste the freshness, sweetness. Quite disappointed.

Quite nice but pretty basis.


Service is ok but I feel it’s a bit overacting. Overall, i don’t think I will come back for the food again. The historical dining room itself is magnificent. Unfortunately the food can’t pair well with the environment. The garden is a good spot. Maybe I’ll come back for some more gin instead!

Food - Must try Crab on Toast (fresh and delicate); French Onion Soup (thin puff pastry) ; What a memorable experience from the beginning till the end. Recommendation are really yummy! Prime Rib I know it's there famous, you must have to try. something that gonna melt in your mouth.

What a memorable experience from the beginning till the end. Service smooth as silk, top notch food and drink recommendation and a big smile from the team. Magistracy House in Central highly recommended.

The Lincolnshire Poacher Soufflé ($188) and the French onion soup ($228) tasted super salty and we couldn’t even finish half of each. The highly acclaimed roasted turbot on the bone for two ($1088) was beautifully presented but it tasted bland and the portion was miserably small… Luckily the sticky toffee pudding ($228) tasted pretty good so at least the meal had a nice ending 👌🏻

我們是最後一台離開但他們服務也非常周到,更讓我們到他們樓上的Private Room參觀及拍照。
氣氛- 非常輕快
音樂-全晚都播着輕快音樂
裝修- 濃郁
適合人群- 見客,朋友,家人聚會,拍拖,慶祝
合適衣着- smart casual / cocktail/喜歡打扮的朋友也是一個可以dress up 的地方
