So when heard of a kebab shop getting opened in Happy Valley I was well excited. At HKD $80 a kebab it was slightly overpriced, but so is everything else in Happy Valley so I thought it was worth it to have a go.
There was the optional extra HKD $10 guacamole and extra $15 cheese options, which I did both. To my horror, the kebab itself was tasteless as stated by the first reviewer of this place (how expensive is salt these days?), and it was amazing how the sauce is tasteless too. In fact they put so much sauce in there that the kebab was dripping the entire time. Since I paid for the extra guacamole and cheese I thought I would quite enjoy it, but in the end it was really really hard to spot any guacamole in there, and yes I did find my cheese in my kebab in the end - as a disgusting lump at the bottom of my kebab roll.
I mean, I am used to the shitty kebabs we get in Britain (you know those kebabs made up of entirely minced meat instead of chunks of meat piled up together?) but this has taken disgusting kebabs to an entirely different level. I guess I can get used to things being expensive in Happy Valley, but I can never get used to eateries charging more and yet offering far inferior food to customers because there is a lack of choice. This is classical exploitation. Best avoid.
