It was my cousin’s birthday, so I treated her to a meal in the Jackson Room.We met up downstairs in the lobby and I took her upstairs to the restaurant. Our waiter Jason kindly took us to our table, pulled out the seats for us, and then presented us the menu. He then introduced the specials dishes being promoted.I ordered US steak and my cousin ordered a seafood pie. We had smoked salmon for our appetizer. The salmon was smoked in-house. The waiter recommended a couple wine to match with our dinner. The taste was spectacular. For dessert we had chestnut cake and mousse. There were bite-sized chocolate pieces to end the dinner. Atmosphere was lovely, setting was beautiful, and service was smooth. No complaints. continue reading
