朋友約去食下午茶先知依到向利園有間Cova.沒有電話留位, Tea係3 點鐘開始, 要到2:30 先可以去櫃台留位, 我早左2點鐘就到,店員好好比我留左位先, 跟住行左一陣, 我地就返去食啦~外裏望入去, 係得四, 五張枱…但原來必有洞天, 裏面分左3 個廳, 外裏係見唔到架, 裝修高雅, 高級同好有私人空間~ 絕對係"偷食"既好去處~哈哈..下午茶時段係buffet, 所有既野食都放向依張枱上, 左邊既一d 熱食(pizza, cookies, mini burger, sandwiches, snack food), 中間既有焗既甜品(tiramisu, crème puff, pudding, fruit tart etc., fresh fruit ), 右邊既主要係蛋糕(栗子,chocolate, mango, lemon cheese cake, raisin chocolate cookie etc.) 種類好似多但又唔係好多, 但每樣都好細件, 好精緻.熱食不能不提, 上圖既米奇Cookie 十分好味, 焗得好脆, 上面有糖粒同埋杏仁碎.生果有點失望... 哈蜜瓜同蜜瓜

有別於一般龍蝦沙律,眼前這客Aragosta in Bellavista龍蝦芝士慕絲賣相極像件芝士蛋糕,好吸引呀(我是個芝士蛋糕迷~)!波士頓龍蝦肉質爽甜啖啖肉。而‘蛋糕’部份是軟滑的buffalo ricotta芝士配來自意大利Apulia區的burrata芝士,再加上微酸的意大利Sorrento檸檬,在淡淡鹹香的芝士上增添層次。整個頭盤食起來十分輕盈清新,好睇又好食,大愛!

香蕉雪糕很軟滑,香蕉味道濃郁,而且甜度剛剛好。甜品向來是Cova強項,這次的水準依然讓人滿意,亦為這餐來個完美結局。這次Cova飯聚,無論食物、氣氛和服務都相當不錯,而且銅鑼灣利園的地點又方便就腳,以後食晚飯又多個好選擇啦!

今年父親節我們選定了Cova Ristorante & Cafe,

這次消費我的套餐加一約hkd700~800之間,
整體環境非常舒服,店員也都很貼心的注意我們用餐狀況,
食物口味也蠻滿意!價位雖然是偏高,但是特殊節日來真的很有氣氛喔!

點了件tiramisu和一杯black coffee.侍應服務好好,我忘了點低咖啡因的咖啡,他都肯幫我睇下可否轉回。Tiramisu一入口有酒香,不算太濃味,一個人食都不至於太漏。咖啡沒什麼特別,夠熱,都算大杯。食完蛋糕,就泥飲晒咖啡既時候,侍應哥哥請我吃3塊曲奇😆曲奇樣子精美,特別喜歡花花外形的那件,不過只是普通牛油曲奇。其餘的是朱古力曲奇及有乾果的曲奇。

試了香蕉朱古力及貌似Tiramisu的榛子脆脆,覺得偏漏一些,蘋果卷的酥皮欠層次感,果肉算酸甜平衡,沙巴翁汁則酒精沒揮發好,味過苦,綠茶Panna cotta不夠滑,茶味又不香濃。

水準較佳的是切粒士多啤梨,入口芳香甜美,柔滑多汁,是必須經過特別處理才有的效果;藍莓芝士餅的白色芝士層幼滑輕盈,多吃幾件也不滯;另外一盤用Cream堆成像雪山般的,內藏冰凍雜果,那些Cream輕如棉花,教人卻欲罷不能!接近尾聲,終於端出一盤賣飛佛Tiramisu,賣相依舊,軟芝士香滑,略嫌底部過濕及甜了不少,最終由於大部分客人已停手,故一人幹掉了半盤^0^

總括而言,今天的鹹點水準比甜品優越,二百多價錢的tea buffet 坊間仍會有不少選擇,但以Cova來說,就叫化算,因兩天前在金鐘店吃了一個Tiramisu杯及飲一杯凍Mocha已是百多元了。

Other Info. : 值得一讚的是在Buffet枱前,會有server介紹及幫忙拿cut cake,然後再弄得美觀及企理些,也會適時補充食品。另外,其他侍應收碟及客人暫離座時摺餐巾的功夫做得極足。

一向對COVA既蛋糕都好有信心, 尢其喜歡COVA既 OATMEAT 味既蛋糕同朱古力味既蛋糕。但不知是不是這一間SERVE既係紙碟及膠叉令感覺不一樣了而影馨食後感,還是COVA既蛋糕變差了呢?! 當日 OATMEAT既蛋糕好似透了風既麥味在一上CREAM上面, 完全沒有了麥味既香味。 另外我地點了一個CHESTNUT蛋糕, 太甜,當然我知道是用罐頭CHESTNUT做的,不會有鮮味出來,可是這個蛋糕用既CHESTNUT真係好假味同太甜了,令我食了一半便無法再食下去。最後,我地叫了柸 LATTE,不夠香也不夠滑。食完之後,我地都問對方:「到底這一家是不是真正的COVA? 」

Other Info. : ~ 到達時未幾秒就給附近有一枱疑似強國老人高談濶論聲浪蓋過悠揚音樂, 加上還有兩次"突備"節目= 由廚房內部發出先後長達15 秒和5秒的"落地開花" 特別音效, 使一眾食客為之嘩然:mad, 亦增加我們提前離去的決心 ! (3:00-5:00, 可以是6:00 才離開)

燕麥蛋糕令我印象很深刻,清淡的燕麥配上不會過分甜膩的鮮奶油,真是絕配,是一件輕盈淡雅的蛋糕。
草莓旁的是提拉米穌,比例恰到好處,雖然是坊間常見的甜品,但這份提拉米穌卻做到「好吃」這個水準。

是日還品嚐了其他甜品,只是沒有拍下。
我們三個女生都相當滿足呢!
光是在極富歐式懷舊風格的餐廳內用餐便已值回票價了,美好的下午茶不僅要有可口的甜點,還要有舒適優雅的氣氛才是每一位女生的夢想,這個下午,COVA帶給我們一個香甜的美夢。

i guess, for a university student, the purpose of these couple of years is all about finding the future path and direction rather than the arbitrary figures found on one's transcript. to keep it short, one insightful breakfast worths more than the countess hours in the lecture theatres.
in case you weren't aware of, only 3-4 cova in hong kong provide breakfast service. being a "kowloon person", it was the first time i visited the cwb cova.
altho it was a saturday morning, there werent many customers and the tables were set apart thus the tranquil ambiance made it a perfect place for communication(quite a formal word used as i didnt imagine i would have the chance to talk to this superior guest of my mum's frd. serious business here, not chitchatting

the choices of breakfast selection was a typical one, with the four of us, two of us chose the omelette prosciutto cotto & formaggio, a uova strappazzate & salmone affumicato(mine) and a uova in camicia all'olandese. in order to act "professional"
in a "business-like meeting", i didnt dare to take my camera out in front of the guest so sorry, no photos this time.
scrambled eggs wrapped in thin slice smoked salmon garnish with caviar that came with my set was palatable. i am not a fan of eggs, to some extend, i actually have egg-phobia. yet, i managed to finish the whole plate this time! why? simply becoz the straightforward rendition of wrapping the completely cooked yet fluffy scrambled eggs in smoked salmon got rid of the yolky taste it usually has. the lightly salted caviar did the job of the usual way of adding pepper to scrambled eggs as well as adorned the dish. hope that i could take a photo the next time i encore this dish.
the poached eggs were as appealing as my salmon scrambled egg but as juicy egg yolk is still a barrier to me, i wouldnt say it was appetizing
couldn't comment on the taste as i didnt try them.
the omelette was simply an omelette. mediocre at best, not much to pick on nor to appraise but definitely a bit drab without much thought on garnishment. in order to sustain the fine image of cova, it should really find ways to improve

toasts were included in all the sets, my mum changed hers to croissant(you have to ask the more senior waitress for the arrangement as we were first rejected by a supposedly less senior waitress). anyways, could choose between brown and white bread. sigh! they were poorly presented to the table
all the toasts(6 slices+1 croissant) were placed on a plain white plate. very thin, not completely toasted. my dear cova, is this what you've got!?
in order to uphold its image in me, i will approach its bakery sooner or later(please be good). yes, i'm bias towards the reputation it established.
fresh grapefruit/orange juice at your pick. no sugar added to my grapefruit juice yet sweet


a nice english breakfast tea to sum up the meal. accept it or not, i only drink coffee at night when i need to work. no matter how long i've slept, i'm always energetic in the day time


as a matter of fact, the "breakfast" lasted for slightly more than 3 hours(even longer than my numerous encountered dessert buffet). will visit it again in no time but more for its all along signature desserts
for breakfast, would like to tryout other options for the meantime. nonetheless..a beam of light emerging through the mist of my future path^^

no tiramisu cake was provided,
this was a big bowl and big scooping spoon type.
that's why no layers can be mention,
but cheese still smooth and nice,
with stronger flavor than mandarin cake shop and tong wong,
more cocoa can be added,
and i love their lady fingers soaked full with coffee,
no wine at all,
and bad thing was that i was the first to start this large bowl of tiramisu,
so the part i scoop was near the side and nearly half of my 6-ball spoon was dry of coffee,
then the lady finger tasted just like usual sponge,
no,
i should say a dry dry sponge.
still having hope for a next cova visit,
if i don't need to pay.

上次book唔到呢間餐廳, 老公特別今年book黎同我慶祝生日服務生細心介紹特別菜色, 我地叫左3 course dinner, 老公上次食過龍蝦意粉, 覺得不錯, 但餐牌沒有, 但服務生亦很好的安排這味菜給我們, 仲recommend點煮好食呢頭盤的牛油果龍蝦沙律好清新, 牛油果好香. 雖然成個沙律係冇sauce, 但反而令到個龍蝦好鮮甜, 讚!另一個頭盤係鵪鶉鴨肝, 烏龍的我以為三片都係肝一分左兩份俾老公, 自己就食中間, 食完後問老公個肝好香, 佢0個份煎得脆嘛, 點知佢同我講佢個鵪鶉好嫩! 原來只得中間0個份係肝, 哈哈, 但, 真係好香濃!主菜黎喇, 餐廳知我地share食, 好細心咁將一份主菜分上, 我相片影的, 正正是一半! 冇錯, 食一半都飽, 真係好大份! 但, 我地覺得呢個菜係成晚靈魂! 蒜片同欖油已足夠帶起龍蝦的鮮! 多謝服務生的建議, 太好了!其實食完意粉都七成飽了, 但係個蟹肉牛柳又真係好好食, 個牛肉有入口即溶的感覺, 同美式steak 濃烈有好大分別! 但係, 又各有各好囉甜品我地叫左芒果拿破崙 (服務生極力推介), 好香, 好脆, 唔太甜 但我喜歡我個生

但我喜歡我個生日餅多0的, 個puff內的gelato有香蕉, 朱古力 同香草味, 但係個puff又會浸林, 仲好脆, 好味! (回味中)
同埋有服務員用中文, 英文咁唱生日歌, 真係好開心!

最好的甜餅係送的, 我老公喜歡, 但我.....就覺得一般, 個酒味太濃了

整晚服務生的服務真的很周到, 及令客人有賓至如歸的感覺, 加上食物真的一流. 值得推介!
