To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 太和既首爾,喺同一條街換過又換既餐廳入面都算屹立不倒。呢頭食韓國野,都係諗起佢。野食選擇唔少,就算係心目中標準既配搭,都有幾款可以換下。今晚就食左三款澱粉質既match。飯卷。整整齊齊靚靚仔仔,唔會實得得又唔會切完一夾就散哂。餡料標準,味道穩定,家常但就係好食。年糕湯。天氣凍,整番個年糕就岩哂。牛骨味湯底,餃子唔多但夠大隻。粉絲餡易煮爛,但廚師當然唔會犯呢種低級錯誤。年糕煙韌,牛肉塊細塊但數量唔少,口感偏韌但食得出牛味,唔錯。泡菜煎餅。外皮香脆,軟熟同煙韌做到平衡,裙加上酸爽既泡菜味道,冇咩好挑剔。 continue reading

呢間都算係太和元老級餐廳但一路都好少食 ,因為個環境又黑又多蚊,食餐飯狂比蚊咬….裝修完見佢開咗光咁就去試下。外賣堂食都有試。結論來講,原味炸雞最好。 甜辣蜂蜜都還好,平時一定唔會叫原味,一來有醬抵食好多,二來原味應該冇乜味。但呢到嘅原味反而好過有醬料的,證明了佢嘅醬冇錦上添花,都係可有可無。炸醬飯啲薯仔好吃,但配飯真係好唔夾,唔該還番個面比佢。炒粉絲正正常常,無突出無挑剔之處。喺太和想食炸雞可以一試想講佢芽菜好食咗好多! continue reading

太和我有兩間想試嘅韓式餐廳,一間係首爾,另一間係直街,但直街果間晚市比午市貴左唔少,都係留番午市先試,所以最後揀左首爾。小菜 – 泡菜、芽菜泡菜好酸好難食😣,建議咁酸嘅泡菜留番黎整泡菜湯;芽菜唔夠麻油香。無骨甜辣炸雞 $75對比起其他韓式餐廳,大家一樣入貨,但呢度嘅售價卻平一半,難怪幾乎每枱客人都會點。雞粒新鮮炸出黎,雖然沾上醬汁,但仍然有脆口感;醬汁偏甜,辣味微弱,唔食得辣嘅朋友都可以食。炸醬麵 $65由於友人每次去韓國都會食,所以當見到唔少食評推介嘅時間,不禁抱有期望。可惜,呢度個炸醬並唔係佢杯茶。麵條煙韌,類似扁烏冬,而唔係用黎整炸醬麵嘅麵條;炸醬配料有薯粒、煮到好淋嘅洋蔥、好多翠肉瓜粒、少量肉碎。有別於韓國食到嘅爽口且大量洋蔥同肉碎嘅炸醬。水冷麵 $68我喺韓國無食過,因為覺得好普通,但後來見到一位韓國廚師介紹,先知道個湯其實係牛骨湯,而且製作繁複,好後悔喺韓國無食過😫。之後係香港有特登試,而呢度個麵同我係香港其他餐廳食嘅味道差唔多,但價錢卻平好多。估唔到呢個價錢居然有D湯冰,價錢比佢貴嘅都未必有。另外,個湯因為浸住泡菜蘿蔔而有淡淡泡菜味、少少酸,整體幾合我心意;麵條好幼、好煙韌、好有彈性,而且份量好多。 continue reading

餐廳老闆係韓國人,中英文都唔係好好,咁我就拿張menu 指住話要D2牛肉餐, 讀埋出來,但個老闆聽錯,入左B2 豬肉餐比我。佢入左單後,沒比張收據我。我開口問佢拿,佢搞左一陣,再比張單我。我一睇到張單,就立刻話我要的是D2,唔係B2請幫我轉。個老闆自己入錯單,竟然一句sorry都沒,仲同我講”No, it’s already cooking!” 我真係對呢間餐廳好失望! 老闆自己聽錯,亂咁入單,又沒有即時覆述我張單,又唔比收據我。到我發現左,佢又話已經過左幾分鐘,已經煮緊,沒得改張單。最後屈我買左一個錯的餐。我以後不會再去這間餐廳。 continue reading
