已經是晚上八點多,也不周圍去,就去茶餐廳吃吧。套餐選擇不合心水,散點小菜,另加了$12 便可有白飯和例湯。金銀菜豬骨湯,$55,菜乾未洗太乾淨,湯水較淡,可能是接近收爐時間的關係。侍應也多送了一碗例湯,反正都接近關門。滑蛋粟米魚塊,$55,魚塊未算香脆,可幸粟米汁帶少少甜味,用來伴飯不錯。三杯雞煲,$57,也夠鑊氣,配料有洋蔥,芹菜等,十分豐富。調皮地點了雪糕啫喱特飲,$22。汽水是另外整罐上的,勁抵飲。雲呢拿雪糕有冰底,所以一直不融掉,可以慢慢吃。只是啫喱味道不濃烈,啫喱粉分量要多一點啦。

The options are limited in Tung Chung, so when we want to eat nearer home, it can be a troubling experience. We settled on Buddies, as it looked decent from the outside. Never again will we eat there based on the quality of the food.So we ordered a bbq set, singapore fried noodles and two milk teas. The tea was fine (one should hope so too), but rest was a shambles.The bbq was pitiful. The meat was not very good quality. The sausage was a cheap hotdog style thing, cold with a bit of smokiness, but not much. The roast pork was ok, but dry and cold (a little warmth doesn't go amiss). The other pork was super cinnamony - to the extent that it was hard to eat. The chicken wing was one of the least pleasant things I have put in my mouth for a while. Cold and slimey with jelly-like texture. The half slated duck egg was salty to the point of hurting your tongue and was as hard as a rubber ball. A TOTAL CATASTROPHE. The only thing that was ok, was the rice. The singapore fried noodles were nowhere near as good as at any other cha chan teng. The main problem was that in addition to the normal shrimp and pork, they had added those little tiny dried shrimp. Now, many people like them, but we detest them and they are not normally served on this dish. They really gave the dish a fishy/shrimpy taste that is not associated with Singapore noodles - one of my favourite cheap lunches. So after picking out the little beasts, the dish still had a remnant of their flavour. Off putting.Basically, Buddies is cheap because the quality of the food is poor. Badly executed with cheap ingredients. We will not walk through their doors again and I recommend that do not do so either.

琴晚同屋企人落黎食飯, 一行三人, 7點半去到, 好快有位坐.我地叫左三個小菜, 都係家常便飯, 無咩要求. 加上呢間餐廳無咩好評, 都唔敢期望太高. 但係呢幾個菜出奇地好好味, 食得出廚師有心機煮, 值得一讚相中中間果個係魚塊, 好有鍋氣, 新新鮮既魚去做, 所以好味左邊果個金銀蛋浸菜係正常好食, 份量亦足右手邊既係沙嗲粉絲牛肉, 熱得來好多汁, 用來撈飯一流好多人話呢度服務唔好, 不過我地今晚睇, 茶餐廳算可以接受啦!

每次來「友天地」都是來吃叉燒,可惜上次食味失手,有點介心,是次一於轉戰豬扒。「焗豬扒飯套餐」$50蘿宋湯調味是太酸了;反而蒜蓉多士焗得香口,賣相也算對辨。焗飯熱哄哄地出場,汁料卻是睎巴巴,豬扒有陣油溢味道,又肥佬了!

探望剛搬來東涌既友人 佢屋企既廚房還未運作 晚飯落佢樓下映灣坊之前佢多是出面食埋先回家 大快活及椰林都只曾幫趁過一次..今次就試下'友天地' 客人也不少 我地入去見伙計無理會我地 當然醒目自找座位點知坐落後 某伙計話張檯係死角 招呼唔到 叫我地去另一邊 跟住溜走 但又無安排我地坐低最終有客起身走先有位..搵食艱難點了干炒牛河 大碟頭 嫌不夠鑊氣 但味道及牛肉尚算不錯另外星洲炒米 料夠足 但咖哩味不夠濃 OK凍奶茶 少奶偏甜 一般.. 凍鴛鴦 咖啡味太重
