Beard Papa was my childhood favourite. It never disappointed me in anything- heavenly bite, convenient location, fast service, clean store. The self-proclaim to be "world best cream puff" is reasonable. With time, branches relocated and numbers decreased. Passed by Mira Mall in TST, I did not hesitate to take their puff. I got the limited time offer green tea black puff ($22), named black since the freshly baked pastry shells were added with cocoa powder. After making an order, the staff took the shell and filled it with the standardized 2 squeeze. Taste-wise:Fresh, creamy, smooth and delicious. Strong taste of green tea but in lack of cocoa taste. p.s. After all the years with Beard Papa, I still failed with managing the cream explosion. Please share with me the ways to enjoy it perfectly.

此店在酒店內,位置較偏僻, 勝在環境好寧靜。首先要向店員講清楚想吃之酥皮款式,再選餡料味道,因不同酥皮和不同的餡料, 收費是不一樣。我選了黑酥皮泡芙配原味吉士打。見到店員注入吉士打入puff 內, 心裏不停叫他注多d ,注多d.出爐了,黑酥皮好有麥皮,味道有少少澀澀地,外脆內軟,與幼滑之吉士打一起吃,好好味,好正。忍吾住要買多個。今次要原味酥皮配原味吉士打。今次酥皮冇澀味,好香蛋味,又是外脆內軟,好似一陣風就吃完。今次仲有好多好多creamy 吉士打,不太甜,,滿足了。

因有外勤,回去的時候,當然要買點吃的獎勵自己。在美麗華酒店的這家BEARD PAPA好像沒什麼人發現,人流超少的。從到達小店,下單,看著店員制作到走,都只有我一個顧客,連經過的人也沒有。那也倒好,店員全為我一個人服務。XD我原本只想要一個抹茶泡芙,但單買一個要$21,買一個抹茶加一個原味泡芙的話就$36,貪小便宜又貪吃的我,當然是買兩個啦! 雖然人流不多,但泡芙質素不差呢! 酥皮不會太硬太亁身,算是鬆化。奶油很香滑,又不會太甜,特別愛吃抹茶味的奶油! 記憶中以前的BEARD PAPA的泡芙並不是那麼少選擇的,以前我記得有吃過夾著水果的泡芙,超好吃的! 現在為什麼都沒有了呢??

係尖沙咀食完飯突然心血來潮,走左去最愛既puff!其實明明食黎食去都差唔多咁,但我對puff始終有個情意結,去到邊都食到邊今次,我就去左Mira Mall既Bread Papa價錢方面,應該間間就一樣既,$19-25一個不等,個人認為價錢合理既味道方面,今次第一次黎呢間食puff 其實對佢既出品應該有信心既,因為間間都差不多,食黎食去就係咁雖然就冇話冇咩要求姐,但唔知佢係趕住收工定點,定係放得耐左,啲puff好似唔夠凍,令到味道差左小小。希望下次再黎既時候係回復正常水平啦!

直到這家 Izumi Curry x bread papa 的 crossover 店出現, 才知道兩個品牌屬同一集團。位於尖沙咀 Miramall 這個新商場, 人流還算稀疏, 這家店子自然也是一樣。這裡也是 bread papa 首家可以堂食的分店, 更有下午茶餐供應, 於餐牌中發現這個特別的下午茶餐 - 是「碎上」的泡芙, 原本放在裡面的蛋奶沙司醬亦是「另上」, 泡芙跟原個的比較, 質感較硬, 味道則相若, 泡芙面層洒了些砂糖, 因此比原本的甜了些, 但卻增加了口感; 沾上一些醬來吃, 又是另一番風味。套餐連飲品, 選擇了熱朱古力, 要加錢, 味道很不濟, 建議點選不用加錢的標準飲品。
