店舖的外表特別,吸引我訂位一試!原來店內環境很整潔樸實,絕不像外牆那樣花巧~而面積亦比想像中細小,坐位只有約十六個!坐下來,店主說他們是沒有餐牌的,他邀請我們到櫃檯前挑選,他將今天有的菜式各弄一個sample, 放好在玻璃櫃裏,讓客人可看到並直接order!店主非常友善好客,由於我們不太懂中東菜,他樂意為我們逐一介紹要了數款前菜/小吃,有炸芝麻球、酥皮菜餅、肉丸子等,最特別是有很多款不同的醬,各用不同材料製成,我們試了兩款:芝士醬和鷹咀豆醬,配合即製的中東薄餅,風味特別!主菜反而沒前菜精彩,大部份給我的印象都是茄醬製成的,味道大同小異。值得推薦的是串燒,可選雞、牛or羊,與蔬菜一同串起,好看也好吃,且肉汁很多!甜品也很是特別,像有果仁口感混和的餡料,味道很好,但卻極甜!以特式異國菜來說,價錢一點不算貴!像中東薄餅,一個只是三元正而已!注意:這裡order菜式大部份是以每100g.計,所以份量要自己衡量啊!

Signature Dishes
Went with a friend on a Tuesday night, there was only a couple sitting on the terrace outside the restaurant drinking, and only us two inside having dinner. Wonder how they survive the rent... hope business is better on weekends.For appetizers we ordered:- Falafel: lightly seasoned, 4 pieces with salad, has a nice sauce to compliment it, not dry with rock hard skin like most of the ones i try in hk- Babaghanoush: comes with 3 flavours of pita bread that was piping hot, not oily or too salty- Grilled cheese with salad: forgot the name of the dish, but the cheese didn't have much flavour, and the texture was like bean curdFor mains:- Grilled Shish Tawook: tender chicken on half a piece of toasted some sort of bread, looks and tastes great- Lamb kebab: meat a bit tough, needed some serious chewing, but at least there weren't any "jar" and didn't taste "so"coffee came in a little pot that the waitress poured into a little cup, it was thick and looked like melted chocolate, but it was seasoned with spice and a tad too sweet for me, and there were lots of grainy sediments, which i presume are edible if you really wanted to eat it...the restaurant isn't big, but at least the tables weren't cramped together, the decor was nice, the place was clean, the service attentive and efficient.

2007年4月19日,2友生日,我提議去Bazaar慶祝。後來其中一人打電話訂10位,但負責人說人數多要親身去交“deposit”,由於地方隱蔽,負責人說可以到地鐵pick up我的朋友。但這樣太麻煩,本來改去其他地方,但另一朋友說最近到過Bazaar搞25人party覺得不錯,又便宜,所以說她會打電話去跟老闆談談,最後都不用付deposit。一去到,我們都知道為什麼要付訂金,因為地方真的很小。我們十人坐的長,兩旁只可以坐8人,頭尾再坐兩人,真的很迫逼,後來要求才再加一張給我們。除了我們,餐廳只可再多容納10人。即共坐20人左右。25人Party?實在要走出餐廳吧!還有,因為鋪子小,廚房很近,油煙也很厲害,食完成身一陣味。所以去的話要有心理準備。1.頭盤–全部都細細碟,一個約30-35元。-Pickles (green olives): 都幾好食喎!-Babaghanoush: 矮瓜蓉加檸檬、蒜、中東芝醬Tahini做成,都幾好味。-Lamb Kofta: 是欖狀的lamb kebab,混有洋蔥、番茜、香料等,配是番茄sauce。我唔鍾意食羊肉丸,所以不太喜歡。-Fatoush: 是沙律,其實可以唔使叫,因為主菜裏面有的。有生菜、青瓜、洋蔥、radish。跟中東的圓麵包(Pita),D包烤得幾靚,幾特別。2.主菜:45-75元,我們叫的全部是70元以上的。-Shish Kebab –是牛肉串,但偏乾,不算很好吃。-Grilled Shish Tawook –是燒雞串配中東芝醬(所有主菜都用呢個醬架啦)D雞幾香口。好食!-Samak bil Dukkah –這個菜是魚,魚面鋪滿了果仁再拿去焗。魚的portion 比相像中小,很香口,沒什麼魚味。但也算很特別的菜。-當日的廚師推介有2個,一個是Lamb Shank –幾抵食。好好腍。-另外一個是有糯米stuffing雞,比燒雞串軟滑,但沒有它的香。配菜可以跟飯、沙律、菠菜(spinach)、秋葵(Okra),我們都選飯或者spinach, 但每個主菜裏不知為什麼還有沙律。那個spinach是另外放在一個小碗的,很鹹,不好吃。3.甜品:只有3個選擇,20-25元。-一個叫Halva,是用芝醬加蜜糖、糖漿做成長方條狀,好像也加了杏仁味,但很甜。-一個叫konoffa,一客只有一小塊,賣相像潮洲的糖醋麵,但是椰子味的,好甜。-另外有Turkish Delight,是中東常常吃到的軟糖,又係好甜。-還有Baklava,是焗酥皮餅。因友人生日,做了成個圓型生日餅。OK甜。飲品方面,我要了一個埃及咖啡($20),本身已經加了甜,也沒有cream和奶,杯底的渣滓要留下來,不要喝。

上個星期六我與朋友一共四人去了這間新的餐廳吃晚飯,店子小小,有個開放式廚房,賣的是中東菜,看過餐牌後發覺食物相當化算,一點也不貴,頭盤大約$30-$80,主菜也不過是$70-$80。我們每人叫了飲品、Mezz拼盤及Hanomie沙律做頭盤,那個Mezz拼盤很豐富,有炸豆餅、有幾種不同的dip、有蔬菜、有羊肉等,還有不同種類的pita bread,沙律也很清新好味。至於主菜我們叫了羊肉kebab,羊肉鍋跟okra及雞肉鍋跟菠菜,全部跟沙律或飯,portion很適中味道出奇地好。我們亦叫了三種甜品,有Turkish delight (homemade)從來也未試過這種Turkish delight,口感很特別,有玫瑰、雲喱拿及薄荷味,另外甜品有pastry的、有椰絲酥兩款也不錯,最後還叫了mint tea及咖啡。此店是不收加一服務費的,值得一讃的是那些侍應十分殷勤有禮,而老闆兼大廚也非常之nice,結脹只不過是500多元,非常非常超值,而我們也很樂意多付小費,最後我們捧著滿足的肚皮離開,這是一間絕對值得推介的餐廳,我們一定會再來光顧。
