來在報紙雜誌時常閱到‘環保海鮮’,為左解開咩叫環保海鮮,思前想后,就約埋幾個朋友仔一齊試下位於大坑這靜中帶量的‘持續發展’海鮮小店,我們一行5人,有朋友早到,被安排好了餐廳中間位子,這裡環境、燈光舒適,好有一種家的感覺。由於有朋友未到,我地就先請當晚經理 York介紹一下個menu,我地覺得主要食海鮮關係,就order一支在menu上中價的瑞士製白酒,這支白酒易入口,比較fruity,好似平時唔飲開白酒嘅我都飲左2杯。Order Wine的同時,我地都order幾款starters, 分別係青口 (Italian blue mussel)同登格斯蟹肉餅 (US Dungeness Crab Cake),仲有海鮮熱盤 (hot seafood platter)。第一款送上來的當然係西餐必備的餐包,這裡的意大利海草面包夠鬆化,是等齊朋友而未上starter 前極佳選擇(聽聞是師傅自家製,出面搵唔到的,唔夠食可以叫多少少)。朋友到齊,青口同蟹餅差唔多同時間來,這裡的青口很新鮮既柔軟,另外青口的cream sauce香味重而不溜,對一些平時不愛吃cream嘅朋友也可一試。蟹餅上餐桌很熱,炸得外皮酥脆,裡頭仍能保存蟹汁,肉味濃郁香口,配以Tomato Salsa Sauce酸酸甜甜,十分醒胃。兩個starter 味道不錯,值得一試。吃過starter後,這裡梁老闆來到餐廳,他勞力講解清楚海鮮熱盤每個海鮮的來源地,有些是非洲國家的蝦,也有些是歐州地方的海產,由於本人地理較差,聽完國家名現在都唔記得予。個人最欣賞是虎蝦,肉地結實又多膏,帶子既厚及汁,總括來說海鮮口感是不錯的。吃到一半熱盤時,梁老闆推介招牌餐湯(seafood stew),每碗湯都有隻中蝦,湯味很濃郁,入口鮮甜,我猜應用了不少時間製造。吃過海鮮后,梁老闆為我們捱介了一條海魚及美國肉眼扒(Grilled US Prime Grade Rib Eye),另外我們也開了另一支紅酒。當海魚上餐桌時,才發展這條海魚沒有想像中多骨,而York用熟練技巧幫我們介開了這條魚,魚很鮮甜,texture不錯。16安士美國肉眼扒,愛肉一族的人士是不應錯過的,我們幾個人也需要點時間才能放進肚裡,雖然叫了medium well,有部份位置較raw,肉汁慢慢流出,最適合我這類鐘意比較raw嘅人士食用。燒美國吃完了主菜,我們已經有絲絲飽意,梁老闆堅持要我們試一下他們做的甜品,是homemade apple pie,Cream Brulee & Napoleon,對很多女士,甜品特別重要,所以如果好此道者,之前不要吃得太飽,吃過甜品,就真係大滿足。 Read More

食生日飯,打去Book枱,因為全店total得5張枱,叫咗個青口$188(好好食,青口來自法國,超嫩10分)一個bbq嘅seafood platter同條佢話來自荷蘭嘅魚,放咪咗一齊(講咗條魚先,$298得300g,唔難食嘅味道,但唔會再食,第一有唔值,第二囗感好cream ,口感莓莓地,香料太重,食唔到鮮味4分。而個seafood platter系高分嘅,個蝦最正,好香好彈口,八爪魚一樣難處理嘅野,都算燒得好,有8分,不過要成$880。)再叫咗三杯白酒,同兩條甜品(甜心5分一般般)要成近$1900大洋。值唔值就見人見志啦。我記得餐牌上意粉有有三個,一個150到,一個250到,另一個要成450左右一個意粉。個總分系有7.5分嘅,另提下服務十分好。Read More

前幾天日下午剛好又經過大坑, 發現原來這裡的 Executive Set Lunch 幾吸引, 特別之處是坊間的套餐主要賣紅肉, 但這個行政午餐卻以海鮮做主打, 感覺馬上「升呢」, 早上忙完一朝決定食餐好的。迎面而來是意大利香草麵包 (FOCACCIA) 及我的至愛香芹籽麵包條, 前者用心地預先再焗, 鬆軟可口,後者香脆富香草味,不錯. 再沾上意大利extra virgin olive oil 和vinegar ,很好吃呢! 好,先來個湯開開胃,我點了這日的daily soup 海鮮薈, 湯料相當之豐富! 有蝦, 青口, 蜆, 還有一些魚肉, 湯底是蕃茄味道的, 加上這麼多海鮮一起煮, 味道實在非常鮮甜!!! 用來點香草面包絕配 ~ 據餐廳經理說,海鮮都是定期在外國空運入口,且每周新鮮運到,難怪食落鮮味十足,真材實料。主菜方面, 餐廳經理跟我推介了今天從美國新鮮運到的馬尼拉蜆配墨魚汁意粉, 說可以幫我轉這個給我試試。看得出選用的馬尼拉蜆是高級超市均有售的貨色,一碟意粉也有十多隻蜆 ,味道鮮甜沒有沙, 而墨魚汁意粉的軟硬度亦適中, 一句講哂al dente~~若不喜歡食蜆其實還有阿根延紅蝦或珍寶蟹肉意大利飯等飽吐選擇;想食好些可以加$ 50改吃法國法甸魚或煙肉高僧魚(Monk Fish)串;不嗜海鮮則可配US Prime Rib Eye 8 oz, 一於下次再試!!吃完意粉都已經開始飽了, 但看見這個相當精美的拿破崙, 暫時忘記本周的on diet大計, 食完再減。那破崙除了賣相吸引外, 甜味亦適中, 新鮮即焗的酥皮勁脆, 果然沒有浪費了食甜品的quota. ~~~另外叫的Grapetiser, 酸酸甜甜 , 很開胃呢!想不到這裡除了晚餐好吃 , 午餐也一點不馬虎,用料同樣新鮮 , 下次有時間慰勞自已時, 必定再來多幫襯;唯一美中不足是餐廳位置比較隱蔽, 而且小店坐位亦有限, 全部菜式即叫即做, 等候要些時間, 今天怱怱一小時略嫌急趕, 下次要預留多些時間好好品嚐呢!Read More

閒時因為工作關係,也會來到大坑這個地方找尋好吃的。貪這裡靠近鬧市夠方便,又不失小鎮的寧靜嘛!這裡近年都有不少食店進駐到來,而且大部份都是特色小店,如咖啡店、拉面店等,鮮有商場式的連鎖食肆。感覺還是個未被商業化的小社區,人情味特別濃厚。今次來到這間有如歐陸小店般吸引的漁悅,主打海鮮菜式,驟眼看來裝潢格調都比較舒適優雅。看看餐牌,有不少海產都是坊間少見的,問問侍應,才知道很多特別海鮮都是他們從海外直接購入,每週空運到港,而且食物品質都是非常之高,不少更是屬於可持續發展的海產呢!可見這店在用料方面都是有所要求的。打開餐牌,選擇非常多,餐廳經理就介紹我們試試當天的DAILY SPEACIAL,就是這個由四款不同的魚拼湊而成的Fish Platter啦!魚拼盤用上多種貴價魚,配以特式煮法,突出每款魚各自不同的口感,感覺相當新穎特別。阿拉斯加黑鱈魚配南瓜汁,以煎焗的方法烹調,而且配上鮮製南瓜汁,味道清新,口感相當不錯!而來自摩洛哥的原隻八爪魚切粒,配襯新鮮的沙律菜、陳醋及西西里特純欖油,非常口胃。而這裡更用上由法國新鮮空運到港的法國海鱸,起出魚柳,蒸煮的烹調方法令海鱸的鮮味及嫩滑口感能夠保持得非常好,中間更包著非常爽甜的蘆筍,配合得相當好。最後,以煙肉包著新鮮的高僧魚配茴香汁,口感味道非常濃郁惹味。而另一推介就是此店獨有來自非洲的珍寶虎蝦,一隻就足足有差不多手臂那麼大。平常吃到的虎蝦雖然彈牙,卻鮮有尺寸那麼大的能夠選擇。自己一個人吃上一隻,都已經差不多吃飽了。而且尺寸雖大,但口感仍然非常彈口而不難咬,蝦頭更是滿佈蝦膏,十分甘甜。配上意大利飯,這個菜式的口感實在非常之好呢!初初看到這裡的定價都以為有點貴,但吃過之後,就覺得性價比非常高。一分錢一分貨,現在很少餐廳會著重食物的質素了,而是只顧門面功夫。在這裡,不但環境舒服,而且食物質素亦能保持到水準,實在是不錯的選擇。Read More

有朋友試過這間座落於大坑的海鮮小店,說這裡的食物質素不錯,便一行人來這邊試一下。這裡的店面雖然不大,但座位相當寬闊,坐得很舒適。登格斯蟹肉餅一碟有四個,每個都炸得外皮酥脆,裡頭仍能保存肉汁,蟹味非常濃郁鮮甜!登格斯蟹肉餅配以Tomato Salsa Sauce,酸酸甜甜,配以炸物十分醒胃。來自馬達加斯加的虎蝦每隻都非常巨型,肉質比平日吃的普通虎蝦彈牙得多,味道亦甜美得多。高僧魚燒得剛剛好,肉汁保存到之餘,外面包的煙肉亦燒得香口。五成熟的極級肉眼扒,外表的坑紋燒得很美,一切開肉汁就隨隨流出,肉質鮮甜。珍寶帶子有如手掌心般大小,兩邊略略煎香,中間還能保持半生熟,非常軟口。配黑松露醬非常美口惹味。吃完豐富的海鮮餐,再吃件精緻的甜品,為這頓飯畫個完滿的句號。整體而言,這餐廳不論是環境抑或食物質素都非常好,下次生日或是什麼紀念日,在這裡開支紅酒,邊嘆海鮮盛宴也是個好選擇!Read More

已經是第二次到這餐廳,每次都有很好的感覺,環境很舒適。海鮮冷盤是我每次都必點的,十分新鮮,味道很鮮甜,如果人多可點大份,款式會更多。這次還食了墨魚沙拉,很特別和清新,很喜歡。另外熱盤都有特色,可食出海鮮的鮮味。雖然價錢有點貴,但QUALITY很好,絕對值得再一試。Read More

This Fishful Season as its named, serves mainly seafood and the owner avoids buying seafood from Asia to assure their qualities. At lunch from Tuesday to Friday, they offer a “buffet á la minute” lunch set where you can choose any or all items once from the menu except for the grilled selections where only 2 items can be chosen. All at $298 per person plus service charge. Most of the seafood are fresh and is a thrifty option if you can spare a relaxing lunch there. a) Mixed Bread Basket – 8/10Although the bread was not made on spot, both the olive tomato and herbs focaccia and crispy caraway break sticks were served warm, tasty and gave a pleasant start for the meal. b) Tofu Cube with Sesame Sauce – 8/10, Tomato Dice with Olive Oil – 7.8/10, Tomato Salad in Balsamic Vinegar - 7.5Locally made tofu can be with high price-quality-ratio. This simple dish with a spread of sesame sauce already highlighted the aroma of yellow beans. The veggies were fresh in particular the tomatoes, however, this was very much similar to the tomato salad.c) King Crab Legs – 8.5/10A decent portion of crab legs which kicked start the serve of seafood. The crab was juicy and not too salty. No seasoning or a squeeze of lemon would be perfect.d) Mixed Seafood Salad with Pesto Sauce – 7.5/10This was a warm salad with seafood including scallops, mussels, clams and fish. The seafood was not in high quality though.e) Blue Mussels in Cream Sauce – 8.5/10The mussels from USA were tender and beautifully cooked. The cream sauce was a good dip with bread.f) Clams in White Wine – 9/10The Manila clams were also beautifully cooked and didn’t shrink much. These shells were even with more intense umami than the mussels. g) Seafood Stew – 8/10, Vegetable Soup – 7.8/10The seafood stew was not very rich as reflected from its appearance, however, the rice krispies added texture to the soup. The taste was good in general. For the vegetable, it’s more than a clear broth. With dices of tofu, beet root, tomato, pumpkin and celery, it’s quite appetizing.h) Grill Argentina Prawn – 8/10, Grill Lobster Tail– 8.5/10For the grill section, we could pick 2 among prawn, lobster, tuna, hake fish, rib eye or lamb rack.
