疫情稍为放缓,约了朋友去吃晚饭。荣记是鹅颈桥街市熟食中心最大的食店,疫情前生意都很不错。今天也不错,入座率超过百分之八十。小炒和炒粉面都没有怎样变化,价钱都很实惠,而且菜式很多选择,丰俭由人。由于喝啤酒,点了几个下酒的菜。下了单5分钟左右就上菜了,非常快捷。很久没吃炸大肠了,上桌时是脆皮,中间依然保持着软软的本来质感。外脆内软,再沾上酸甜酱,味道很棒。另外,炸鲮鱼球也做得很出色,鱼球炸到涨卜卜,香味十足,配上蚬蚧,好吃得很。这里有大排档的风味,东西不贵,三两知己边吃边聊天,喝着啤酒,是另一番滋味。Read More

限聚令終於放寬,可以四個人同事食晚餐,好耐都未試過幾個人一齊食下小菜,原本想去清真惠記食燒鴨同埋咖喱,不過到達時間晚了,全個場就只有這間。見到都好多人幫襯又有人留坐,滿心歡喜諗住有正嘢食。四個人點咗五樣嘢食。上湯浸豆苗($78)算係最好食。椒鹽鮮魷($78)就最差,根本都唔係鮮魷,似係土魷發返水,好乾好硬好薄,而炸粉就好厚,好似食緊炸魷魚乾咁。蒜香豬扒($78)比較細碟,夾埋都唔知有冇兩塊豬扒,唔值咁嘅價錢。味道就係平時椒鹽豬扒飯嗰啲豬扒一樣豉汁蒸白鱔($148),條白鱔應該好細條,又細件又薄又多骨,唔會覺得好好味,又唔覺得唔好味,白鱔切到咁薄真係唔得,成口骨,厚切好啲。韭菜花炒牛肉($78),好鹹,好多油,牛肉一陣雪藏味,每一條韭菜花都包住一層油,仲要等咗45分鐘以上,追咗四五次先至嚟。大排檔環境冇乜要求,但係啲碗碟都算幾污糟,自己洗完都有污跡,不過將就一下。侍應就揮手睇你唔到,大大聲叫幾次都唔睬你,叫到佢睬你,都唔係真心幫你,椒鹽鮮魷等咗半個鐘,牛肉等咗45分鐘以上。Read More

比較起較本土、大角咀市政楓樹圍,鵝頸橋市政榮記的顧客就較國際化,間中會見有老外找到上來吃。以往遇周六日,最好黃昏6:15前便要到,否則至少等下輪,這陣子明顯淡靜,5:30到,見6:45居然還有數張枱剩。餐牌更新了,太久沒來一時間不知點啥,見牆上貼了 蒜香蟹飯似是推介,另點了 豉油王鵝腸、翠塘豆腐、菜膽雞。蟹飯雖 只一隻蟹但蟹肉及蟹膏豐富,肉質結實,飯底加了中量炸蒜粒、少量咸蛋來蒸,對得起$128這價錢;豉油王鵝腸 似乎忘了加蔥,就得銀芽墊底,而銀芽的水份煮時滲出太多間接沖淡了豉油味,所以不夠香且味淡;翠塘豆腐 下了冬菇粒、蘿蔔片、西芹、魚片、草菇、蒸蛋,主角豆腐是切粒同蒸,料很足;菜膽雞 棄小棠菜而用生菜,感覺不夠「膽」,賣相亮晶晶,就是吃不出雞香味,只能嚐到雞肉滑嫩,全靠那個芡汁調得好補救。又叫了森堡2支、仙地等,整餐飯大概$420左右。Read More
