As summer approaches, the all-day dining restaurant “The Place” of Cordis, Hong Kong is delighted to present a new Thai-themed seafood buffet.

From now until August 31, 2024, you can embark on a culinary journey to Thailand and savour a delectable array of authentic Thai delicacies alongside with fresh seafood.

Offering an extensive selection of dishes that showcase the vibrant flavours of Thai cuisine, you can indulge in a variety of Thai-style salads, such as Thai-style Squid Glass Noodles Salad (Yum Woon Sen), Thai-style Green Papaya Beef Salad (Som Tum Thai) and more. 

Seafood lovers will be delighted not only by a wide spread of iced seafood including Fresh Oysters*, Snow Crab Legs, Lobster Claws# / Whole Lobsters*, Golden Sea Whelks and Blue Mussels that are served with Thai-style Sweet Chili Sauce and Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce, but also Thai-style Cold Prawns with Chili Sauce, one of the must-have cold appetisers in Thailand.

The culinary team of “The Place” has also curated an array of authentic Thai delicacies, including the classic street food Thai Fish Cakes (Tod Mun Pla), succulent Wok-fried Prawn with Thai Chili Paste (Goong Pad Nam Prik Pao), flavourful Roasted Spring Chicken in Thai Style (Nong Gai Op) as well as sour and spicy Thai-style Steamed Grey Mullet (Pla Gapong Neung Manao)

More hot dishes include the iconic Thai Boat Noodles (Kuay Teow Reua) served with your choice of Thai Fish Ball, Beef Ball, Pork Ball, Bean Sprouts, Pork Cracker; Thai Coconut Chicken Soup (Tom Kha Gai) with rich coconut milk infused with lemongrass, galangal and makrut lime leaves; and Thai-style Pork Neck (Moo Yang) at the live grill station.

Executive Pastry Chef, Roy Ma and his team have meticulously crafted a series of delectable Thai-inspired desserts. Highlights include the all-time favourite Coconut Sago Pudding, Mango Ginger Passionfruit Macaroon, Pandan Coconut Layer Cake, Caramel Thai Tea Cream Roulade, Pandan Coconut Egg Waffle, and 11 flavours of MÖVENPICK Ice Cream, giving a perfect end to your Thai feast journey.
A series of exquisite Thai desserts provide the perfect conclusion to a Thai feast.

Free-flow Beverage Station
Buffet patrons can also enjoy free-flow beverages at the self-served beverage station, including soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea. Unlimited serving of alcoholic beverages like Thai beer, selected draught beer and wines will also be available during dinner period. For a more exotic journey, you can also make your own Aperol Spritz using the ingredients provided at the beverage station.
