The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi or Institute) offers 22 innovative degree programmes across our 6 Academic Departments, namely Department of Food and Health Sciences, Department of Construction, Environment and Engineering, Department of Sport and Recreation, Department of Hospitality and Business Management, Department of Design and Architecture, and Department of Digital Innovation and Technology, that are vocationally and professionally oriented and developed with significant industry input. All programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and also accredited by the relevant professional bodies where appropriate. THEi prepares Work Ready, Future Ready graduates through our strong applied degree and professional education programmes. All programmes require work integrated learning (WIL) and engage students inactive learning pedagogies including a strong focus on project-based learning involving real-world problem solving with and for local industries and professions. Major Duties:

The appointee shall engage in delivering lectures and conducting tutorials for the Department.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have a recognised Master’s degree, preferably a doctoral degree, in Multimedia / Digital Media / Game and Animation / Graphic Design / Computer Graphics / Computer Animation or related fields. Candidates should have at least 4 years teaching experience at tertiary level and/or experience in professional practice in the field of Animation.

He/she should have good interpersonal and communication skills; and high proficiency in English and preferably in Chinese, including Putonghua.

Notes:

(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, including Saturdays and Sundays.

(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

(3) The appointee will work on Chai Wan Campus.
