文華扒房算是在香港未食過也聽過的傳統著名扒房,趁着聖誕佳節,慕名來到這間米芝蓮星級餐廳享用聖誕大餐。Mandarin Grill + Bar位於文華東方酒店一樓,門口擺放了不少有歷史感的擺設,當然也少不了聖誕樹和聖誕裝飾。扒房裝修相當有品味和格調,用餐的位置也十分舒適和寛敞;當晚我們安排坐在近窗邊的座位,面前對着兩幅印象派的藝術作品我們點了5 course tasting menu,主菜方面剛好也趕上試到他們本來要預訂的signature dish - Beef Wellington,接下來會逐一介紹:餐前麵包和餐前小食:黑松露餡餅 - 在上菜時服務員會介紹牛油和麵包的配搭,黑松露餡餅的味道也不錯,鮮松露沒有難聞的汽油味道之餘,也能帶出香氣和對接下來的大餐的期待感。蘋果木煙三文魚-煙熏味和三文魚香味十分平衡,服務員會在一旁切好三文魚塊,然後放上葱花、紅葱頭、酸豆、芝士,讓我們嘗試到不同的配搭。牛肉他他/steak tartare - 這道牛肉他他的味道十分濃郁,入口沒有留到腥味之餘,肉質也很油潤嫩滑,值得推薦。龍蝦湯 - 這道經典湯品沒有令人失望,上菜時龍蝦肉和湯會先分開,侍應會在旁邊慢慢把湯倒下,散發出來的香氣令人十分期待。龍蝦肉的份量充足,而且湯汁口感細滑之餘還有很濃郁的蝦味,味道是濃而不膩。威靈頓牛排 - 終於來到當晚最期待的威靈頓牛排,侍應會先細心的問我們要不要把牛扒分一半的切開(讓女仕有機會要細份一點),然後會熟悉的在餐車上切成兩份,在還是温暖的碟上淋上黑松露汁。酥皮金黃酥脆之外,medium rare的牛柳火候剛剛好,口感柔嫩再配上濃香的蘑菇茸和淡香的黑松露汁,終於令我們覺得Beef Wellington並不是一個伏。只是看似小巧玲瓏的二人份量,其實也是相當飽肚,最後吃完配菜French beans和薯蓉後,要把甜品的胃也打開才能完成五道菜式。梳乎厘 - 最後當然少不了來到甜品時間,招牌的梳乎厘果然是經典菜式,在熱熱的梳乎厘上淋上冰凍的雪糕,冰火的口感在寒冷的冬天聖誕帶來豐富、十分有層次感的享受。總括而言,這次在聖誕節選擇來了文華扒房享受美食絕對沒有揀錯,侍應整晚的服務態度十分友善專業,整體用餐感覺到Mandarin Grill + Bar在傳統之中有着十分紥實的美妙味道。…Read More
