朋友囡囡請客叨光享用美食,雖然囡囡做東,張羅的仍然是母親大人。燉湯真材實料,湯味濃郁,貴精不貴多,每位僅此一碗。必須5星的避風塘瀨尿蝦肉,從未吃過已去殼的瀨尿蝦,蝦肉肥大結實,入口甘香,頂級的殘廢享受。炒蟶子火候恰好,鮮甜爽口,但珠玉在前;煎米粉也是煎得恰到好處,可惜不堪時間折磨,不消一會便不再香脆。朋友大多講求健康,平日難得一嚐。可幸今次大家都贊成點雞蛋焗魚腸,一於拋開顧慮。魚腸混入大量魚肝,柔潤軟滑,一點魚腥也沒有,確是值得保留的手工菜。一字骨外貌不怎麼討好,卻美味可口。一字骨炸得很透,肉質鬆軟之餘,醋味與甜味也平衡得宜,是肉類菜式的上佳選擇。魚肚份量很多,吸滿湯汁的魚肚與荳苗同吃,感覺十分養颜。朋友十分好客,吃得快要撐破肚皮之時,還多點一份糯米飯。糯米飯蓋滿炸過的蛋絲,是有點肥膩,但令蛋香更為突出。燉奶雖是免費,但出品絕不馬虎,香甜軟滑,份量剛好。…Read More

十幾年前的舊同事各散東西,剛巧有倆位從外地回港想吃傳統粤菜,所以選了這間老店。地方比較逼,坐得唔舒服,但服務唔錯。同事提早預訂了:香酥荔蓉鴨太爺雞-半隻冰鎮咕嚕肉避風塘瀨尿蝦豉椒炒聖子皇蒜蓉中蝦蒸糯米飯籠仔梅菜蒸菜心不過當日冇聖子,冇得試。啖啖肉的瀨尿蝦第一次試。蝦肉有鮮味,但用炸蒜炒一定會奪走鮮味。味道唔錯,但浪費了海鮮的鮮味有點可惜。雞一般,沒有驚喜。冰鎮咕嚕肉平時食得多,這個外層夠脆口,酸甜適中,幾好味!我平日唔多喜歡吃焗魚腸,但這個幾香,冇腥味,我幾喜歡。多士不會吃到一口油,但整體冇驚喜。菜心入唔到梅菜味,菜本身也唔夠新鮮,不推介。糯米飯比蝦更好味,推介。炒得夠乾,味道唔錯,推介。炒飯炒不到粒粒分開。鴨在底上面加了宇蓉再炸香,第一件好味,第二件開始油膩了。甜品是送的。我從未試過咁有誠意的免費甜品,通常都是紅豆沙,所以有誠意感覺特別好味。…Read More

同屋人共六個人來食團年飯,七時左右入座點菜,點左8個餸好意頭,當食完第七個餸之後,就開始追第八個餸,待應A回覆來緊,之後就一直等,直至等到九點幾左右,待應A回覆豆苗沒曬,待應B跟住話有菜心,之後就轉啦,過左一陣待應B又話菜心岩岩比人叫左,沒曬,之後就開始火滾,由落單開始直至9點,起碼個半鐘以上沒貨唔出聲,之後再轉話有菜心,點知再等再話沒,都算,之後我話叫個再高級d來解釋一下,侍應C出現話沒曬,得生菜,仲要唔要,唔要廚房就收工,我話要投訴,佢回覆話呢度沒人話事,直接比左老闆電話我,我打比老闆,老闆了解完事件話交比當值經理X先生處理,之後個位待應C話經理好忙係廚房唔得閒,屋企人話算數生菜照食,因為沒可能做冬食七,點知轉個頭幾分鐘,個侍應C又話生菜都沒,我心諗你玩野吖,一次兩次三次:(最後佢話仲有白莱,谷住氣食完就走,呢間鋪真係沒下次,仲有記得唔好坐樓上,因為原來樓上係係隔離大廈上一樓,d餸送上來都凍左一半,待應B同個位待應C服務態度差X經理直至十點走人都沒出來😤…Read More

朋友們聚會,大家也喜愛中式的味道,其中一位朋友得知,這店出了六十年代的懷舊菜宴,於是大夥決定追隨味道的步伐而再來。酒家實而不華的裝飾依然沒變,是傳統小酒家的特式之一,枱上的杯碟,也是傳統的方式。經已預訂菜式的我們,邊談天,邊期待懷舊的味道。不知不覺地,酒家已為我們預備好了。細數印象深刻的菜式。懷舊叫化雞,俗稱「乞兒雞」,這個菜很久也沒再聽過,真的有點意外。酒樓員工打開後,原來雞肚中還有乾坤,內藏著金針、木耳、紅棗、冬菇等,單是這樣,已經令人食慾大增。雞油的香,熔入進雞肉中,令雞肉滑滑,金針、木耳、紅棗、冬菇等,令雞的香味更進一步提升。清蒸忘不了魚,這種難得再現的河鮮,想不到可以品嚐。上枱之時,還有魚鱗一起,原來連同魚鱗一起清蒸,可保魚肉的中的油脂香味。吃之前,職員才會代為去除魚鱗,而且魚鱗還可以吃的。去除魚鱗後的樣子,那種網紋的外形,非常特別。魚肉入口肉質爽勁,很有咬感,完全不似是魚肉的口感,而以河鮮來說,鮮味也很十足。不消多久,先前的魚鱗再上枱,以避風塘式炸香,除了入口之香,口感脆脆,有點像薯片一樣,與啤酒同吃非常配合,這個魚鱗真的很令人意外。肘子雞湯浸菜膽,青青黃黃的菜膽,襯托著片片紅色的肘子肉,完全是吸引著視覺。雞湯清甜配合著菜膽清新口感,肘子濃而不鹹的味道,兩者互相突顯。雞蛋焗魚腸,只有在內地才聽到的菜式,真的很懷舊,一個小砵上枱,正是傳統風味。入口蛋味香,魚腸滑滑,完全沒有腥味,兩者非常地配合,異常考手的手功菜。海帶綠豆沙,傳統的中式甜品之一,想不到加入了海帶,外邊的甜品店都沒加入海帶,海帶除了增加綠豆沙的味道,海帶也是下火不可缺的材料,這個綠豆沙的味道,真的令人懷念。是否六十年代已存在的菜式,說實在大夥也不太清楚,因為也未曾出生,可是或多或少也曾聽過,部份已經很難再次品嚐得到,這晚的確是大家增添不少的話題。…Read More
