星期六要招待台灣朋友吃地道菜,朋友說有香港味道就可以,其實要有香港風味,大排檔係不二之選,可惜香港的排檔買少見少!今次就決定帶朋友去間比較高質素的大排檔!因為行完街既關係,去到小菜王已是9點多,所以都唔駛點等就已經有位,其實小菜王已經擁有該地段很多鋪位,坐位比較多,就算要等都唔會太耐!當晚大家行完都比較肚餓,我哋一行6 個人3 男3 女,總共點了5 個菜,5個都是我喜歡食既菜!其中包括:避風塘腰果炒排骨!相中可見,炸蒜非常多,成碟菜都炒到好乾身,沒有油。我好鍾意用d炒蒜用嚟撈飯!蒜蓉非常多,蒸到剛剛好夠淋,又唔會太淋!用嚟送飯一流!金銀蛋白菜,白菜鮮甜,加上皮蛋咸蛋味道一流炸墨魚餅,相信無用萬年油炸成,顏色金黃,非常彈牙,亦充滿墨魚肉的味道,唔點沙律醬都得!最後仲有個好好食既蜆蚧鯪魚球,由於太好食,都唔記得左影相!埋單5 百幾,其實排檔嚟講唔平,不過一分錢一分貨,呢個價錢係值得既!…Read More

好耐冇食大排檔啦!今日放工之後,同事說帶去深水埗食好野!原來是小菜王!他們有很有特色的戶外廚房,在香港買少見少的!聽說牌照過後,就不能做愛煮食了!所以看到這光景也份外珍惜!我們叫了幾支啤酒,一份炒蜆,蒜蓉蒸勝瓜,同埋鹹蛋炒蝦!想不到啦鹹蛋炒蝦非常可口,蝦仁外脆內軟,外殼都是乍得脆卜卜!勝瓜用蒜蓉蒸也是10分一流!蒜蓉的香味滲入勝瓜中,非常啱送飯!至於炒蜆,我認為份量比一般的大排檔較多,性價比很高!但是不少炒蜆都有沙島我有一點可惜!吃了10隻,有六隻都有沙!希望下次他們會在注意一點啦!你間大排檔零一特色,就是有冷氣開放!他們做了大約五間舖位,做室內大排檔!在炎炎夏日有冷氣開放的大排檔10分難得!加上可能節日關係,人流較平日少,所以都坐得10分舒服!同朋友三五知己在這裏飲飲啤酒,傾計傾到11點都冇人趕你走! 10分難得!下次會再去!是朋友吹水勝地!…Read More

有一段時間沒有光顧小菜王了,星期六晚上六時多到達,被安排坐在五號舖,小菜王的規模又大了。點了三款以前吃過的小菜,先來蒜蓉蒸勝瓜($58),勝瓜排得很整齊,蒜蓉平均地分佈在勝瓜上,蒜蓉的份量剛好,非常好吃,如果油可以少一點的話便更好。芝士牛油焗白飯魚($98)是我的選擇,水準依舊,絕對不是那些又厚又硬的脆漿,芝士味可以再增強一點。勝瓜和白飯魚都差不多吃光了,豉椒炒蜆($83)才上桌,蜆肉都脹卜卜的,炒得十分惹味。下次要試試黑椒牛油炒蜆,不知味道如何。離開的時候,門外聚集了很多等位的人。到旁邊的海鮮區看看,剛才吃的白飯魚真的很粗很大條呢!…Read More

同老友合共三人即慶約食飯,想起有一間六、七年前曾幫襯過的小菜王,一於再去試試。20:45到達,見到有人正在等位,真的很旺場,無訂位向待應取位,竟然立即有位。小菜王大排檔式,街邊有一大排檔而另有數個舖位,待應帶領我們到其中一間舖,裝簧就是大排檔,摺檯圓凳。開始點菜:1. 豉椒炒花甲 - 看上去顏色較淺,入口調味清淡略嫌不足,但花甲本身新鮮大隻。2. 豉油王鵝腸 - 有大量韭黃及芽菜墊底,鵝腸入口爽口彈牙不會韌,韭黃及芽菜亦非常惹味,唯獨調味方面蠔油加得太得掩蓋豉油味道。3. 蒜蓉蒸勝瓜 - 勝瓜斜切大大片,面上鋪滿蒜蓉,蒜蓉完全滲入勝瓜,好味。4. 黑椒西芹牛柳粒 - 西芹及牛柳粒切得非常細粒,因難夾已預備匙羹,牛柳粒醃得不錯亦很有黑椒味,入口軟滑,但西芹過了火,口感太稔。5. 椒鹽鮮魷 - 份量十足,脆獎不厚,鮮魷炸得剛熟,外脆而肉質軟滑,好吃。另外界吸數支啤酒及汽水。整體而言,食材可說十分新鮮,唯部份菜式調味欠佳,而價錢亦不算貴。 …Read More

今日和幾個朋友有事相談,約在深土埗的小菜王。小菜王有兩間小鋪,店面沒甚裝潢,就是上了鋪的大牌檔模式。而此店的廚房設於石硤尾街街邊,霸了半條街,有一般舊式大牌檔的鑊氣。我們被安排到其中一店的閣樓,沿路要走經鋪後洗手間、儲物房及地盤般的鐵通木板梯。 由於時間尚早,我們為第一檯閣樓的客人。齊人後我們略略點了數個小菜,正想開始今日的話題,但小菜居然五分鐘內立即奉上,真快手。 豆腐魚雲湯:一大碗魚湯滾起,大約可分八小碗。魚湯香濃,豆腐也滑,加入白菜仔,清熱消暑。 :) 沙薑雞:肥雞滲滿沙薑醬汁,另配以薑蔥蓉。雞味略嫌不足,但也不差。 砵仔焗魚腸:很傳統的菜式,魚腸配以雞蛋、油條及粉絲,放於砵仔焗香。魚腸不腥而份量十足,蛋亦香滑,加少許胡椒粉,口感一流。 黑椒牛油蟶子:不作一般豉椒炒,蟶子肥美,以牛油及黑椒香味襯托蟶子的鮮甜,不錯。 油浸筍殼:最初店員建議點一條大的,但最後卻售罄,唯有改了一條較小的。筍殼香煎得皮脆肉滑,簡單浸以豉油上碟,美味。 美中不足就是不夠吃吧。 腰果椒鹽骨:椒鹽骨炸得香口,不過伴菜的腰果更為出色。 :) 蛋白肉碎浸莧菜:OK 啦。 蒜蓉蒸勝瓜:勝瓜切開十多片,每片鋪以足料炸蒜清蒸。瓜肉蒸夠軟身,蒜香配以勝瓜的清淡,很好。 :)食物方面做到大牌檔的水準,夠鑊氣,平靚正。環境方面尚算整潔,但由於四面被重重包圍,多人時會很嘈雜。但全晚最嘈應該是我們這一檯,所以要問問其他食客才能得知吧! …Read More

今晚提早慶祝爸爸節前幾晚特定在openrice翻查一翻繼上回試了『泰屋』令人回味萬分之後openrice 的食評也是不賴的 !最終拍板決定試試『小菜王』小菜王位於深水步與石硤尾交界由於大排檔多為晚上開檔所以在夜深人靜的深水步實在不好找去到的時候 因為星期六的關係還是需要等位的等位其間 還有膠"鄧"提供而且伙計不像平時去開的那樣粗豪還算得上有禮! 等候不到十五分鐘就能入座了!對於一般平民大排檔來說 這種服務質素確實有點驚喜但又失去幾分風味未知是否出名的關係 轉角連續幾間鋪位都是屬於它的而且不是路邊攤的關係 環境確實比我預期好坐下不久 已急不及待拿起餐牌落單先來個黃金蝦 這個應該是全晚之冠除了是味道之冠也是價錢之冠盛惠$100蝦是屬於大蝦 但蝦肉不會太老最好味的是炸蝦面那咸蛋黃汁 正!恨不得連殼都"損"埋再來是電視也介紹過的饅魚炒飯看樣子像是沒甚驚喜但用湯匙盛起飯時發現材料豐富得很饅魚已經不少 還有炒蛋 大粒蝦仁和草菇飯的干濕度是可接受的 唯獨是有些飯粒未有上到醬料吧$68 這個價是可接受的接下來是黑椒牛油炒聖子看食評後是沒甚意慾叫聖子因為聽說肉很瘦但爸爸想試就叫了黑椒炒 有別平時吃的豉椒炒肉質比想像中肥美 而且炒得剛好不老但我認為黑椒味可再重一點不過不愛辣的應該剛好$68 時蔬方面原本一心想試瑤柱扒豆苗原來豆苗不當做喇 就叫了多人吃的蒜蓉蒸勝瓜 $30有點失望 因為略為普通及清淡家裡蒜蓉蒸可能比它好呢想試很久的砵仔焗魚腸是魚腸加蛋和粉絲蒸完再焗所以外脆內軟配上胡椒粉調味魚腸一點也不腥 加上蛋味 和偶爾的八角味$56??小女對中式炸物一向沒太大好感但基於爸爸愛吃九肚魚和魷魚就叫了椒鹽九肚魚一試果然令我再次失望炸粉太多 九肚魚又細又太瘦像吃炸粉團似的 可能叫椒鹽魷魚就不會有如此下場$56??最後$400 賣單算不錯…Read More
