前晚帶了一位剛由加拿大回港探親的老友, 去食中式懷舊晚餐,  位於沙田  [龍華酒店].   搭火車由沙田站出,  看 Google map 只 須 10 分鐘便行到, 完全無難度.  經入口小斜路, 沿路掛滿紅燈籠, 好有中國風.到了貴賓廳, 店員熱誠招呼入座.服務員開茶及送上餐牌,  茗茶每位 $13,  水滾茶靚, 餐牌內有多頁, 有介紹 龍華酒店由 1938年開業, 原來金庸曾在此 寫成 [書劍恩仇錄], 朋友先點菜,   首選皇牌頂鴿,  頂鴿也有多種烹調方法,   餐牌有名貴菜式, 也有撚手小菜及燉湯.  價錢豐儉由人.餐廳座位多,  寬敞舒適, 裝修及燈飾有懷舊感.  牆上掛了很多照片, 帶給香港人不少回憶. 等上菜時,  可以細閱牆上照片, 有明星 及法國廚到訪, 來頭真不少.  餐廳也不乏美酒, 可以招待朋友.燉湯先送到,  生磨杏汁燉白肺湯,  這個湯真是頂呱呱, 燉的時間足夠, 食材豐富, 足料.  入口杏汁味美甜濃, 豬肺都燉到好稔, 不是一般酒樓可以嚐到的靚湯, 大家慢慢品嚐.紅燒頂鴿, 賣相好, 炸得香脆,  上檯香氣撲鼻.  我們選擇切開四件, 容易進食. 新鮮鴿的肉比較嫩滑, 有肉汁又好肉,炸得少油膩.  感覺味道香氣與別不同,  乳鴿係必食之選.薑蔥焗廣島蠔, 有鑊氣,  上檯即聞到好香薑蒜味.焗廣島蠔好大隻, 足足有九隻之多,  蠔味濃, 薑蔥爆得香口.  調味正. 香煎釀豆腐,    古法煎釀豆腐比其他酒家出品大件,伴有翠綠小棠菜,   調味正.豆腐 質感軟滑.  鯪魚肉有膠質, 煎得好味出色, 芡汁濃淡剛好,  營養豐富, 好好食.小棠菜好嫩滑, 口感爽!食物足料好味, 廚藝吾錯.   看看 牆上有張大 poster, 原來 2014年李小龍主題畫展 在此舉辦.  好有懷舊意義.酒店面積十分大,  有園林茶座, 花園,  食完飯可在外園遊覽, …Read More

不知為何我老豆特別愛食龍華,據聞後生同呀媽拍拖都會去食;但價錢不平、又不就腳,但又可以立足多年,的確有它的特色。週末全家一行十二人到龍華食晚飯。龍華創於1951年,上層是酒店,下層是食肆;龍華算是當時的高尚食肆和酒店,裝潢十分豪華,當時吸引很多明星和高官光顧和入住。後來因政府發展沙田新市鎮,龍酒停車場被逼拆卸,周圍的環境受到破壞,龍華亦不及以前吸引。$98隻的乳鴿到底味道如何?龍華有名的紅燒頂鴿(HK98/隻),可以因應人數開二或開四,乳鴿比平時酒樓食的大一倍,剛燒好熱辣辣、皮脆肉夠多,據說是用麥芽糖搽皮再燒的,但我就食不出啦~沙田雞粥(HKD108窩),因為當時帶住手套所以沒有手影相,7-8人份量;就是雞煲一煲,但粥底好綿,雞用酒浸過亦好入味鍋燒鴿崧炒飯(HKD138),普通貨色,有食到鴿絲,但份量少得可憐,我寧靜多食一隻乳鴿罷了「打星星」的名物之一菠蘿咕嚕肉(HKD118),份量好少,亦食不出值得打星星的味道,這道菜在普通酒樓食應該只值$68吧…頭抽龍鬚炒麵店(HKD108),不就是炒麵一碟..同樣都是普通貨仔一行十二人埋單HKD1900,除了紅燒乳鴿之外,其他菜式都很一般;場內有駐場歌手唱懷舊金曲,氣氛是不錯的,但如果想傾傾偈就不太適合了。…Read More

五月二十九日 (星期六)快是老公仔媽媽的生日大日子她早陣子提及有興趣一試龍華酒店的燒乳鴿好,就趁今次,帶她來試一試要來龍華是一定要專程來的地點頗偏僻,今日為了慶祝伯母生日,所以專情過來是日天氣不太好,行過去時都天陰陰了!幸好,到了才下大雨!看過menu,伯母已經決定了點以下菜式椒絲腐乳通菜味道不錯!椒絲炒得鑊氣夠,通菜雖然不是當灶,但是都爽口,又不老是我最喜歡的一道菜菠蘿咕嚕肉味道可以,啖啖肉,肉質都滑,弄得惹味呢八珍豆腐煲材料普通,周圍也吃到,而且價錢貴!紅燒頂鴿是必點的菜式,卻不驚喜,其他茶餐廳都可以做出此水準!令人失望鵲巢椒鹽鴿蛋店員說是必點菜式之一,每人一粒,我就覺得不特別,與媽媽弄的差不多,而且價錢貴,不值得試呢XO醬荷芹龍利球龍利的份量少,XO醬都炒得不錯,無可否認,鑊氣都夠的,但是料夠份量少埋單六個人是$800,價錢是頗貴,而且味道不特出!當然伯母喜歡吃最緊要,生日快樂!…Read More
