小曼谷可謂是九龍城泰國菜的代表之一,在我中學時已經曾慕名而來,最近再次到訪覺得裝修後環境比較舒適,但朋友卻認為小曼谷海鮮燒烤屋更加出色,極力推薦一試。環境方面顯然與小曼谷的泰式風味截然不同,裝潢比較新派而醬上更有壁畫塗鴉。冬蔭鮮蝦雲吞湯 ($128)冬蔭功湯原鍋端上並以明火保溫,份量比想像中多,可以分為約四碗,酸辣辛香亦不過分嗆辣。附有五粒巨型雲吞,皮滑餡多而且鮮蝦比例頗多,雖鮮味欠奉但口感爽彈。雞腎沙嗲串燒 ($16) 串爆墨魚咀 ($28)墨魚咀和雞腎均質感爽彈而不乾韌,惟沙嗲醬偏甜但香氣與層次感薄弱。蒜香胡椒炸墨魚咀 ($78)炸墨魚咀淹沒於大量炸蒜胡椒當中,比燒墨魚咀更加香口惹味但油膩感重。泰式燒原隻魷魚 ($148)原隻魷魚配上泰式甜辣醬,本身並沒有多加調味,口感軟彈不會過韌,但感覺平平無奇亦沒有技巧可言。極上燒安格斯西冷牛小排 ($228)牛小排外層燒至微微焦香,肉質較韌且肉味薄弱,油香四溢,不過脂肪比例太高充斥不少肥膏。泰皇咖哩炒海鮮 ($238)咖哩當中有炸大蝦、青口、蜆等海鮮,另加一碗白飯($15)拌飯同吃,咖哩辣度適中,混有陣陣椰香。泰式芝士烤酥餅 ($32)酥餅加上芝士烤香,比較油膩但配以咖哩同吃甚為匹配。小曼谷炒飯 ($98)炒飯以薄薄一層蛋皮包覆,當中混有少量豬頸肉、扎肉、蟹柳及蝦。炒飯口感濕軟而且較為油膩,不夠乾爽和粒粒分明。或許因朋友及網上評論推薦期望較高,結果整體而言水準只屬不過不失,不少菜式無需太多技巧但定價偏高,人均五百多元實在有更好選擇。…Read More

之前食了九龍城泰國菜都相當滿意,事不宜遲,來到這家折然不同、食過返尋味的泰國菜:小曼谷海鮮燒烤屋。門口的吹氣公仔好熟口面,好似網絡紅人Ming仔玩左一大輪左勾拳的那個。作為養生女子,燒烤並非我杯茶,不過這裡的燒烤仍讓我泛起了「心心眼」。牛油蒜蓉燒珍寶龍蝦($238)約11吋長重一磅這些的龍蝦有兩款,由於另外一款有臘腸的關係,我選了這一款。比較特別的是,這一款面頭有些白飯魚仔,非常鬆脆。龍蝦果真有11吋長,比我的大手掌還要大。烤過的有陣陣鮮味氣息,重中之重是要蘸上餐廳特有的酸辣汁,馬上起了畫龍點晴之效,毫不誇張!看了看那酸辣汁的成份,有青檸和魚露!難怪!有魚露的地方就有鮮味,青檸的清新和酸味,提振了燒烤食物的滋味!龍蝦啖啖肉,咬落彈牙,頗為新鮮。明爐香檸汁蒸桂花魚($238)有買開餸的人都知,桂花魚愈來愈貴,而吃貨們會知道,桂花魚的肉質比鯇魚、烏頭好上太多。所以一見餐牌有明爐蒸桂花魚,想都不用想,馬上已敲定要這款。果然!桂花魚又香又滑,肉質的口感毫不拖泥帶水,嫩滑好咬得很,連牙齒都分辨得出來的好食!加上那個汁,飲落像不辣的冬蔭功,酸得來惹味,有香茅和檸葉等香料氣息。配上桂花魚亦非常夾。整道菜式可謂驚為天人!我覺得我可以一人之力,力吞全條魚並清晒所有湯,不誇張!全5分!極推介!泰皇咖哩炒海鮮($238)平常愛吃椰香味濃的青咖哩,這天叫了個泰皇咖哩。青咖哩感覺像柔弱的女子,泰皇咖哩則有王者之風。泰皇咖哩香料感較強,辣度不強,但香濃惹味。這裡的泰皇咖哩汁感覺厚實濃重,但是讓人忍不住用匙羮一啖啖地吮著。講講裡面的海鮮,有青口、蜆、蝦、魷魚。個人覺得最好食的是蝦,有炸過的蝦吸收咖哩汁後原來可以這麼好吃,爽口脆身又彈牙。份量頗大,海鮮量亦足,由於咖哩汁太正,所以也要了個酥餅來沾汁吃。泰式芝士烤酥餅(2塊)($30)問店員原味烤酥餅好食些還是芝士味好食些。店員毫不猶疑馬上說:芝士味好食。好!信你!果然店員無呃人。芝士味烤酥餅一上檯香得不得了,拿上手又熱又酥。沾上咖哩汁堪稱一絕!最後一人叫個椰青($36)新鮮!椰肉晶瑩剔透,刮得郁,正!總結小曼谷海鮮燒烤屋菜式選擇相當多,而且味道非常好!我選的3個菜式,命中率100%地好食!相當有驚喜。尤其是明爐香檸汁蒸桂花魚!一試難忘!忍不住四處向人推介啊(哈哈)。…Read More

九龍城朋友生日,相約在其附近共聚。既然來到九龍城,當然是食泰國菜。朋友建議下午時分用膳,可以避開晚市高峰期,又可以慢慢嘆,吹几耐水都得。選擇了屋企附近的小曼谷。九龍城有很多內街,自己總是分不出各個街名。就按著網站地圖,來到餐廳了。面對著大馬路的餐廳,果然很容易找到。下午茶時段,客人不多,於梳化位就座後,要看看有什麼好吃的。在泰國餐廳,要點泰國咖喱。另外再加2個飯,應該很足夠吧!   泰皇咖喱炒海鮮   一大盤的咖喱,中間放滿了不同的材料。點算後,青口X3, 蜆X3, 大蝦X2, 魷魚,洋蔥及青椒大量。泰皇咖喱整體不太辣,没有蓋過海鮮原有的鮮味。咖喱內裡夾雜著淺色的東西,是否蛋花? 這就是泰皇咖喱的意思嗎? 大蝦背部已開邊,方便剝殼,輕易地拆出完整的蝦肉了。還有魷魚,大量的洋蔥及青椒,都是很健康呢!    泰式原味烤酥餅  用來沾上泰皇咖喱,一流。但偏身的烤酥餅,較難沾上更多咖喱。如果選用法包就更好了。法包中間多氣孔,又乾身,可以吸收更多泰皇咖喱。一滴也不浪費。   小曼谷炒飯 蛋包飯,內有豬頸肉,蝦,札肉,蟹柳。這個炒飯不辣。  小曼谷原隻芒果糯米飯來到泰國餐廳,總要來一份芒果糯米飯才算完滿。 可是芒果糯米飯,來到香港就會有點變化,加了紫糯米。泰國當地全是白色糯米,白色椰汁,黃色芒果。原本白白黃的配搭。現在是紫白黃了。芒果及糯米都是甜甜。如果糯米稍為改善軟硬度就更完美,更接近泰國的風味了。(糯米保持全粒狀態,煙韌QQ有咬口,而非煮到失去輪廓的腍身糯米)  芒果椰汁沙冰&可樂            這個生日飯很滿足,在非繁忙時間,不用迫,水~可以吹呀吹!慢慢吹!看看餐牌,原來有得學泰文。…Read More

特地又走到九龍城去,回味這裡的與別不同的咖喱!泰式的炸蝦餅,釀入濃郁的拉絲芝士,少有地能拉絲又有濃香芝味,鹹香突出。蝦球非常彈牙,一個有拳頭般大,非常飽肚!原個椰青焗飯!份量很大,飯、海鮮、配菜不僅塞滿整個椰青,還拱拱的堆起!飯本身拌了椰漿,份外濕潤帶香,再淋上不少的椰漿,又甜又香。有點像芒果糯米飯,但變成了主菜,換了鹹的配料。我懷念的,是小曼谷的「泰皇」咖哩加入花奶及蛋花,比別的地方都要香滑。這次吃到的依舊香料十足,不過有點偏鹹。但原來海鮮咖哩有吃不完的海鮮比起上次吃的炒蜆更為划算耶!剩下來的咖喱,當然少不了要點份蒜蓉包或薄餅來襯襯。不過蒜蓉包顯然有點鹹上添鹹了。飲品方面,我們要了一個椰青、一杯芒果沙冰。椰青很清新鮮甜,解渴解膩,而且肉依然很嫩!芒果沙冰亦不錯,不過甜味有點假了。雖然感覺到質素不如上一次的好,但希望只是偶爾失手吧!畢竟我們還未有找同類似的咖喱可取代呢!…Read More

食泰國野點可以唔去九龍城呢,今次係九龍城就試左有幾間分店咁犀利既小曼谷。裝修主打黃木色,有好warm既感覺。餐具印有佢地個名,而且外形係一隻大象,幾得意。先來一客菜,健康一下先。鐵板果然夠熱辣辣,上台時仲出緊煙。椰菜苗綠油油,但唔係因為多油,係本身菜苗夠新鮮夠靚,爽口。豬頸肉煎得岩岩好,夠香口,有小小脆口感,讚呀。食泰國菜點少得冬蔭公湯,新鮮熱辣,材料又十足,有幾隻大大隻蝦,入口陣陣香茅味,最重要係佢既酸味同辣味岩岩好,唔會好似出面食咁太酸。大大一盤既海鮮,睇見都流口水。海鮮有大頭蝦,青口同蜆。泰皇咖喱汁不太辣帶甜味,好易入口,送飯真係絕配。咖喱汁用左練奶,椰汁和蛋煮成,所以特別香濃,食完又唔會話好濟。賣相雖然冇話整得好靚,但係食落真係無得頂。雖然話係燒既雞肉,但係一d都唔鞋,反而仲滑滑地,相信係新鮮雞先可以做到呢個效來。燒雞既皮脆口,雞肉夠滑真係口感一流。雞肉除左夠滑外,帶有醃料既惹味,真係唔錯。埋單時仲有甜品送,椰汁西米露既椰汁味道香濃,千層糕彈牙外帶點煙韌。呢個好味既甜品為整頓泰國菜劃上完美既句號。…Read More
