上次跟爺爺喝茶已是數年前的事,我已經好久沒跟他喝茶。難得有空,這天,我跟媽媽走到爺爺愛到的蓮香居,請他吃飯之餘順道探望他。爺爺是蓮香居的忠實顧客,店內的員工早就與他成了好友,每走過來我們的座位,他們都會寒喧數句。員工看見我,更笑說要多跟爺爺喝茶呢!我會的。有別於一般茶樓,這裡主打懷舊風。裝潢以簡單潔白為主,牆邊偶有鳥籠作點綴。我更看見懷舊點心車,真的好久沒有看見它了!但是可能是午市的關係,大多顧客都點飯餐而少點點心,所以不是太多點心車出沒。一碟燒鵝拼切雞擺放得公整漂亮,油脂分佈在肉件的上面,令人垂涎三尺。油雞雞皮較肥大,肉的比例又不會過小。雞肉香甜,肉質雖說不上嫩滑,但也不粗糙。至於好久沒吃過的燒鵝,我真的要給它一個「讚」!燒鵝外皮非常香口,一咬開,油脂便馬上湧出來。肉質方面,燒鵝很滑,每口都有鵝肉香。基本上不用沾酸梅醬也可直接品嚐,不過沾上醬汁,味道確實提升不少。吃燒臘定要白飯,這裡的較濕黏,不是我愛的硬米飯。下回再來吃的話一定要點燒鵝!到茶樓吃飯又怎能不叫點心吃?爺爺替我點了籠乾蒸燒賣。燒賣很是彈牙,裡頭的香氣是肉香,而非一般的油香,感覺上較健康。坦白說,這裡的燒賣確實很好吃,但是份量真的太少了……用餐途中,有店員見我不停替食物拍照,便主動上前助我擺放碗具,讓我把照片拍得美一點。他更主動替我們仨合照呢!食物的美味、店員的殷勤、快樂的用餐時段……這是我給蓮香居的第一印象。不過,這裡的食物價格定得較高,下次一定要帶備足夠現金才好來。…Read More

為了一嘗舊式茶樓風味; 星期日專誠往蓮香, 心知蓮香樓實在超難揾位, 所以往上環的姊妹店蓮香居, 到達已是下午 2:00, 但還是全場爆滿, 要站在檯後等位, 大約等了 15 分鐘終於有位, 但要搭檯. 三人都要普洱, 茶博士問要茶壺或茶盅? 咁梗係要茶盅懷舊啦, 要一讚蓮香居的普洱, 在全程沒加添茶葉下都由頭到尾都咁茶味濃郁, 咩叫水滾茶靚, 咪就係咁囉 :) 點心叫了: 叉燒腸 和 蝦腸 - 腸粉需不算太滑, 但有米香, 蝦不是坊間大路的啤水蝦, 需不大隻但爽口兼夾有蝦的鮮味:) 豬肚燒賣 - 足足有 5 塊豬肚, 豬肚夠厚身沒臊味, 好味道:)乾蒸牛肉 - 吃到陳皮/芫茜香和馬蹄粒, 夠水準:)蝦蛟 - 皮需有點厚, 但有蝦的甜和筍的爽:)咸水角 - 不夠熱, 普通魚肚扎 - 外貎和雞扎一樣, 但腐皮內裏沒有雞和火腿, 祗包着很多魚肚和點點肉, 正:)蠔油鴨掌 - 非常普通 再嚟多 2 碗叉燒瀨, 叉燒肥燶豐腴, 一口咬下滿嘴都是香滑油脂又香又軟:)完全不放膽固醇在眼內 可惜來得太晏, 我非常想食的雞球大包和糯米雞都向隅了:( 同場加映搭抬的大叔大嬸不停的想當年, 大叔是 50 後, 細說父親在黃大仙徙置區開茶居, 所以小時候在天台小學放學後就需會到茶居幫手洗茶盅, 大叔還教了我們正確的茶盅倒茶法. 大叔還叫我們估吓以前賣點心的最怕是咩點心出爐??? .......就係 " 糯米雞 "哪, 一籠三十隻, 隻隻足 3 兩. 他說因當年不是推點心車, 而是把點心成盤揹在胸前叫賣, 所以賣點心的知道糯米雞要出爐就個個都唔願入廚房. 需同大叔三九唔識七, 但大家傾得好開心, 真係有時光倒流去番人情味好濃的香港時代....阿爺阿爸的年代早上去茶樓都係同搭檯的茶客大家一盅兩件飲杯茶吹吹水, 怎似得現代人就算一家人同枱飲茶都各自修行, 成餐茶都唔知有無講到廿句話:(唉 ! 過去總是美好的. …Read More

2009年08月08日,14:30早上又在OR找地方和太座一盅兩件,見到這店有哭臉,便細閱。最後決定進行印證。乘電梯到二樓,飯市末客人仍多。亞姐有禮地為我們安排了坐位。要了普洱和鐵觀音,伙計開茶時竟替我們洗茶近三時,仍有多輛點心車,自由地遊蕩。老店點心車祇能作蟻行,因剛出廚房門,已行不得,被茶客重重圍住。可能是時段不同和地方較寬敞,令新店缺少了這氣氛,我亦少了搶點心的意欲。第一輪太座順利的要了蝦餃和燒賣,第二輪要了鳳爪和雞札,等不到腐皮卷,最後要了叉燒瀨。(太座裝惾,問金錢雞瀨是否樣特價)蝦餃:新鮮熱辣,皮不算極薄,口感不錯;蝦鮮爽、筍清香;因不是眼明手快一族,在老店無緣吃蝦餃乾蒸燒賣:夠熱,偏鹹鳳爪:賣相和口感好,可惜亦偏鹹雞札:烹調過的雞鮮和入味、肉片亦不化學、厚大魚肚味豐。叉燒瀨:叉燒不愧蓮香名物,半肥叉燒,肥的入口油香溢出,瘦的味濃、軟硬適中,口感好,湯底仍是燒豬骨老火湯,結果一滴不留。整體點心仍有水準,古早味尚在。我們坐在二樓,點心無不夠熱情況。太座認為點心在二樓出車,遊蕩一輪後,再遊電梯河到三樓。若然三樓冷氣特強,便有點心被吹凍情況。看來話事人需想辦法改善了。可能是人手更充足,服務比老店好:)。茶博士服務更到位,自動為你加水。嬸嬸蓋點心章後,竟會說句請慢用。題外話1:普洱茶多是隔年甚至數年後飲用的,儲藏時間越久,越容易沉積脫落的茶粉和塵埃,洗茶目的是滌塵潤茶。…Read More
