One of us forgot to bring our phone and were forced to order takeaway for lunch. I felt like a cold sashimi don on a hot 🥵 summers day. We ordered the Tempera Don which consisted of prawns, oysters, eel and vegetables and a sashimi don containing seared salmon belly, prawn and crab stick rolls. On top of the price of the dishes, we had to pay additional $3 per dish for takeaway containers. The tempera were deep fried in a lite tempera batter and drizzled in a sweet brown sauce, the tempera was still crispy and not soggy. The deep fried oysters were very nice and the other items, the tempera prawn, eel and vegetables were normal. They were not oily and not over cooked retaining the moisture inside.
The sashimi rice seared salmon belly, buttery prawn and crab rolls was cool, refreshing and tasty being smothered in mayonnaise, the salmon roe was crunchy and all mixed in with soy sauce and wasabi was a great little meal.
