I had some Times Square cash vouchers so decided to use them at Du Hsiao Yueh for dinner takeaway.They offered a take away meal set for two at a reasonable price. Menu in Chinese only but there is a photo of all they offer. There is no 10% off as it's takeaway. A la carte is also available with a 20% off discount. We decided to choose the takeaway deal. For $168, you choose two mains and it includes 2 bowls of rice and 2 canned soft drinks. Everything is made to order so there is a bit of a wait

Everything was packed in very unsturdy cardboard containers. Though they were biodegradable, they also fell apart easily. Thus, they gave us doubled up the containers so it wouldn't leak.
Three Cup Chicken was one of the mains we chose. Portion was a lot but it also was very salty. The chicken meat was tender but it was just way too salty. There was also some red and yellow peppers as well.
The other main was steamed pork and squid meat patty. Lots of diced shitake mushrooms was on top but there was so little squid added. It wa fairly dry as well. A bit of flavour so there was no need to add soysauce (which wasn't included).
Not very good as it was either dry or too salty. Takeaway containers also wasn't very sturdy. We won't try this again.
