This small, simple eatery serves mainly Shanghai food, but also has some Sichuan options. Menue is quite extensive.Food arrived within a few minutes:My favorites were the "lion head" meat balls with brown sauce and lots if vegetables - perfect texture and good tast. Fried rice with ribs was not really fried, which made it light, but a bit bland - ribs were good. Dandan noodles had more peanut than spice, but I guess that's what you expect in a Shanghai restaurant; noodles where thin and chewy -

My favorites were the "lion head" meat balls with brown sauce and lots if vegetables - perfect texture and good tast. Fried rice with ribs was not really fried, which made it light, but a bit bland - ribs were good. Dandan noodles had more peanut than spice, but I guess that's what you expect in a Shanghai restaurant; noodles where thin and chewy - almost HK style, but the taste of the dish was very satisfying. Rice noodles with shredded chicken and peanut sauce came in a large portion and couhd have used more cucumber, but otherwise a great dish - texture of the rice noodles was perfect and the peanut sauce rich and creamy.
Overall a good experience - I especially liked that the food is less oily than in many similar restaurant. Prices are quite reasonable.
