I ordered the double ham and brie cheese croissanwich, not knowing what was coming. I enjoy how you can watch them bake the croissants in front of you which kind of really helps assure the good standard of hygiene.I watched as the sandwich was built up (they sprinkle pepper on the croissant once it’s cut in half, a lovely touch) and they blow-torched the ham to give it an amazing smoky taste and texture. I watched as the sandwich was built up (they sprinkle pepper on the croissant once it’s cut in half, a lovely touch) and they blow-torched the ham to give it an amazing smoky taste and texture. For such a small cafe, and for the really tiny amount of time that you’re there, there is a huge amount of theatre. It’s worth the money you pay! They also build the croissanwich perfectly so that you get an even amount of filling each bite. I found the croissant itself a bit strange as it was quite tough on the outside, but the tougher outside is worth the chewy and flaky inside.
I will definitely come here again! Love the food. Oh, and the boxes they pack the croissanwich in are adorable!
