My boyfriend and I were hunting for ramen places to eat and we came across this one because it did not seem to have a long queue outside the restaurants.
What we ordered
We ordered the classic ramen with coddled eggs (溏心蛋), and the ramen with char siu and beansprouts with extra noodles.
1. Limited soup base
We asked for table for 2 and the waitresses said they need to check if they had any soup base left to sell. It was around 8.10pm on a Wednesday. There were 2 more people behind us before they announced that the soup was sold out for the day.
2. Good soup base but not enough meat
We drank all of it and I was not thirsty afterwards. It was good but not awesomely good. The char siu meat was good as well but there were only 3 thin slices of char siu per bowl. I love the coddled eggs but you have to pay extra for that.
3. Only 3 ramen on the menu - nothing else.
4. The ramen was too thin for my taste.
