Shing Kee Noodles is a famous noodle place in the noon time and hotpot spot at night time. Since my friend is a big fan of hotpot, we often have to go find different places to eat out and we are just looking for the basic from any hotpot restaurant, freshness. Sliced Fatty Beef
The palte was filled with medium thick slices of fatty beef. The bright red colour shows the freshness. It took around 10-15 seconds to each them if you like medium-rare cooked beef. They were tender with a prominent taste of beef, it was just exactly what we wanted. Deep Fried Bean curd Rolls
The irregular shape of the bean curd rolls showed that they made and deep fried their bean curd rolls. The rolls are thicker than usual with a sort of batter like texture. I personally liked to soak the rolls into the hotpot for 2 seconds to have that semi-crunchy texture when biting into it.
Luncheon Meat
Since when has luncheon meat become one of the most favourited item at hotpot? I just don't understand it so I can't really comment on it.
