Went with my boyfriend on Sunday at around 18.30 for dinner. The restaurant was almost empty when we were seated. Hot green tea served. We ordered 6 dishes - Foie gras, mackerel pike (秋刀魚), Shishamo (多春魚), Soft shell crab, Salmon Sashimi, and Salmon Softshell crab roll (Japanese pumpkin out of stock)The Teppenyaki dishes were quite good (Foie gras, mackerel pike and shishamo), though the mackerel pike was just a bit over-cooked.Would not recommend the roll. The Teppenyaki dishes were quite good (Foie gras, mackerel pike and shishamo), though the mackerel pike was just a bit over-cooked.

Would not recommend the roll. The salmon sashimi was very thickly sliced, not of top quality but palatable. The roll was the worst. It had a lot of sushi rice but barely had any soft-shell crab in it. The salmon slice on top was pathetically little. 

Would come back if we happen to be in the area. 

ps. We did not think of watching the chef cook. If we were to come next time we would definitely choose to sit at the bar table.
