I have had fairly good experience a few years ago at their previous Causeway Bay branch (which I was told last night that it closed down), so I decided to try this branch. It took zero minute to wait because the restaurant was empty around 18:30.We, two customers, decided to order the dinner for two. Yes, NO BREAD in an Italian restaurant! 'The dinner-for-two does not comes with bread," the server replied. And by the way, coffee or tea are half price if you wanna add. I thought only "char chaan tien" does it? Wow!
We ordered (tomato) soup and salmon salad. I ate the soup, which I did not know it is from scratch.
For the main courses, we ordered the conchiglie with fennel mascarpone cream and the 9" sriracha chicken pizza. The fennel dish was not only tiny, but significantly UNDERCOOKED. We asked the server to "well done" the pizza, but it wasn't. I suppose different people like different crust.
For desserts, we ordered vanilla profiterole (default) and cookie & cream cheesecake. Those were the best things in the orders tonight.
We felt like we just ate at a very ordinary "local" restaurant.
Nope, I'm not going back to The Point.
