I made a call just to check the oysters varieties, and my only question was "what kinds of New Zealand oysters do you provide" during the entire phone conversation. The first guy had almost no knowledge about oysters, and could not be bothered to check for me. He passed to another guy who replied that they do provide several NZ oysters, but unable to name them except Coffin Bay after I asked for more details. His remarkable reply was "how do I know siu jei?" in a very RUDE, IMPOLITE TONE. Well I do believe that he at least can give me a better answer like Bluff oysters, Rock oysters or Pacific oysters if he puts effort into his work.
I was absolutely let down by the two restaurant staff I spoke to on the phone since they did not show any respect and will never think about to make a first visit.
